Nachtmystium's first new official release since 2014's, "The World We Left Behind" LP (Century Media), is here! "Live Decay: Roadburn Rites 2012" is a live, sound-board recording (mixed in a pro studio by a professional sound engineer at a later date for optimum sound, resulting in one of the highest quality live black metal releases we've ever heard!) of Nachtmystium's massive main-stage set at Tilburg, Holland's annual doom / psychedelic / black metal mecca - Roadburn Festival! This special performance opportunity came to the band by way of Canadian metal genre bending legends, VOIVOD (!) The bands had toured together alongside Kreator in North America in early 2010, got along brilliantly, and stayed in close touch in the years that followed the tour. When VOIVOD were asked to curate a day of mainstage performances at 2012's Roadburn Festival (which they later called, "Au-Dela Du Reel"), Nachtmystium were one of the first bands they reached out to and invited to do a special performance of the bands ground-breaking (and genre defining!) 2006 psychedelic black metal opus - their 3rd full-length LP, "Instinct: Decay", in full - live!

This is a collection of the Nachtmystium demos and unreleased songs. This collection was assembled from the original 4 track tapes and remastered for this release.

Tracks 1-5: "Holocaust of Eternity Demo" originally self-released, then re-issued by Sombre Records. Both releases were limited to 200 and sold out.

Tracks 6-10: "Nachtmystium / Zalnik - Split Demo" self-released, limited to 200 copies, sold out.

Tracks 11-12: were recorded during the "Unholy Terrorist Cult" sessions and were never released until now.

Track 13: recorded in a session between "Nachtmystium / Zalnik" split and the "Reign of the Malicious" LP recordings, never released until now.
