Many have probably heard that this CD is pure trash, a mockery of Leviathan. However, I disagree. This is one of the best CDs that I have heard in a long time. This is also one of the bleakest and “filthiest” productions I have ever heard. Half of the time, one cannot discern a guitar riff from Hildoff’s voice. Commenting on the similarities to Leviathan, Hildoff’s vocals do sound alike to Wrest’s, but Hildoff does have a distinct growl which Wrest does not. Like I said earlier, the guitar is extremely trebly and unorthodox but it fits. The bass is nowhere to be heard. And if Hildoff does not use a drum machine, then he is the fastest damn drummer I have ever heard. Do not let anybody talk you out of acquiring this CD because of its similarities to others, because how many black metal bands have copied Burzum? The only problem that I can find with this CD is that it is extremely repetitive, but that’s alright. Anyway, this is a fantastic CD. Not for everyone, but good nonetheless.
