SCORPIO DOCTRINE
Via Liminalis

SCORPIO DOCTRINE is a Finnish Darkwave / Martial Industrial act consisting of two members: H. Aorta & O. Kaukua. Formed in 2013 by H.A. in Turku, Finland, the act was joined by O. K. at the end of the same year. SCORPIO DOCTRINE was born to manifest the fundamental & ecstatic shadow aspects of humane experience and religion by the vehicle of voice.

The act spent the first year of its existence mostly behind the curtains of the outside world intensively writing, practicing and recording. Once the fruits of this first year spent in darkness came to be harvested in the form of "Via Liminalis" -EP, the act was soon signed by Pavitra Kunta Productions, thus starting to announce its existence to the world outside.

Philosophically the roots of SCORPIO DOCTRINE's ecstatic & thundering art can be seen in the tradition of the Left Handed mystery cults, existing at the borders of all religions, as well as in the funerary art movement

We owe our homage to the Liminal and to the Death, the Mother of all Sabbaths.
