The limited edition vinyl boxset contains five records total, each in their own sleeve, all re-mastered for vinyl from the original mixes, with White Tomb being a single LP and Mammal and Teethed Glory And Injury each a double LP respectively. Continuando il percorso individuato con il precedente “Mammal”, già elogiato in questa sede, gli Altar Of Plagues attingono da un black rarefatto e primitivo a cui vanno incontro parentesi di shoegazing, drone e una noise sibilante che riesce a costruire un reale senso di inquietudine. L’operato di James Kelly e soci guarda fiero ma con altrettanta personalità alla lezione impartita da Neurosis, Isis, Sunn O))), tingendo il tutto di grezzo metallo nero (sia un esempio la furibonda “God Alone”).
