Finnish black metallers Perdition Winds (feat. members of Desolate Shrine, Sargeist, Corpsessed and Lie in Ruins) are back with a new album, to be released December 8th 2017 (CD/digital) and January 2018 (vinyl) through Hellthrasher Productions. Titled 'Transcendent Emptiness', the band’s second full-length echoes from the tradition while inhaling the toxic oxygen of today. It’s a journey through the darkest paths one takes, leading to a triumphant resurrection in the abyss. 50 minutes of expertly crafted black metal that’s both terrifying and full of atmosphere. The album was mixed and mastered by Henri Sorvali (Moonsorrow) at Trollhouse Audio and is the band’s first record to feature new vocalist J.I.

Black Metal finlandese è l'etichetta sotto la quale trovereste questo CD in una ipotetica bacheca della musica estrema: come se i Sargeist duettassero con gli anni '80, quelli del thrash, e dilatassero la loro musica in brani dal minutaggio importante.
Riffing selvaggio che non da nessuna tregua e si lancia nella classica danza di morte del metallo nero mentre, sciamanico, il vocalist decanta rituali satanici ed innalza calici al maligno.(...)
