Originally released in 1983 by Claudio Sorge's Metal Eye in collaboration with Rockerilla magazine and Beppe Riva, "Heavy Metal Eruption" was at the time the first compilation dedicated to the italian hard / heavy scene, featuring first tracks from bands as Strana Officina, Death SS, Crying Steel. Pressed in only 1000 copies on vinyl it's now a pretty rare collectable item. Out for the first time on Cd, digipack, limited to 500 pieces. Completely remastered, kindly licensed by Claudio Sorge.
