The Band was founded in the year 2006 by the one and only member V.Wahntraum. The first Demo called "Zeitenwende - Martyrium eines sterbenden Traums" was recorded and released in the same year. The Debut "Von den Winden der Sehnsucht" was recorded in Summer 2007 and released in the end of 2008. "Von den Winden der Sehnsucht #2" will be released in summer of 2010. It's planed to release another album called "Von den Winden der Sehnsucht #3" in 1-3 years. Karg will release a few Splt Lp's during this time. In the concept of Karg like V.Wahntraum told, Karg will split up after the release of the 3rd LP. But who know's what time will bring...
For a decade now, this Austrian entity has been crafting awe-inspiring ambient-oriented black metal, and Weltenasche is Karg's most daring and defiant record yet, guaranteed to simultaneously satisfy and antagonize black metal purists as well as lure a wide swath of extreme-music listeners.
