HORN's seventh studio album revolves around pieces of literature and songs hailing from or directed to the trenches of the world wars.
Thematically, it is one of the most intense albums in the Horn context. Stylistically, the songs take a step back in the project's history, relying heavily on multiple overlaying guitar structures, probably most reminiscent of the “Naturkraft” (2005) setting.

"20 Jahre", or simply "XX", as it is also called, is a special release with selected songs from the very early days of Horn that were completely redone and re-recorded in the current Horn style, making this sound almost like a brand new album.
