After many years of silence, the legendary death metal force of NECROPHAGIA, one of the very first death metal acts, has reawakened. The band’s revamped line-up have signed to Time To Kill Records for the release of the their final album, “Moribundis Grim”.

In the years of 2016-2018, the band’s last line-up - Killjoy, Serge Streltsov, Shawn Slusarek and Jake Arnette - composed and started recording what became their final opus, “Moribundis Grim”.

Unfortunately in 2018 Killjoy passed away before finishing the album. In 2022 with the help of special guests and former Necrophagia members - John McEntee from Incantation, Titta Tani (ex Goblin) and Mirai Kawashima from Sigh - the album was finally completed.

In a way, it is quite sensational to see another NECROPHAGIA album released at this point in time, meaning 40 years after their first demos were released!

Ultimate re-issue on 2-CD containing all the early demos ('84-'86) prior to the 1st album by this mythical US band that played a unique and personal hybrid of primitive Horror Death, Thrash and Black with a totally old school sound and style.

One of the earliest death metal bands to emerge from the American underground, Necrophagia paved the way for pretty much all extreme metal bands with their chaotic and necro sounds. Hailed by the likes of early Mayhem, Nunslaughter, Sigh and many others from the past and present. Unfortunately Killjoy left us prematurely but he left us with a back catalog/legacy that any musician can be proud of. This compilation double LP will contain every demo and rehearsal from the 80′s that lead up to their debut album Season of the Dead. The layout includes unseen photos and an A2 poster of the release poster for Season of the Dead.

Issued in a 4-panel Digipak with a transparent tray on the right panel. Comes with a fold-out 4-page square (24x24 cm) booklet.
