With definitely a more melodic approach, channeling perverse, morbid romanticism, this material is highly reminiscing with French greats such as Mütillation and Celestia or the Finnish strains of perversion, but still carries much of Obskuritatem's stygian, acidic vitriol present in the intrepid, killer tempo changes and breaks, psychotic vocal delivery, or in the decrepit arpeggios like swirling haunted spirits that populate the second track."
