THE NORWEGIAN EXPERIMENTAL BLACK PROGRESSIVE METAL PURVEYORS RETURN WITH A 68 MINUTE DARK MASTERPIECE OF CHALLENGING & UNNERVING INTROSPECTION
‘A Umbra Omega’ is DHG’s first album since 2007’s ‘Supervillain Outcast’ opus, and undoubtedly marks the band’s most challenging work to date; twisted, technical, sprawling, progressive epics and an inverted outlook on existence from the depths of band mastermind/writer/producer Vicotnik, with similarities drawn to previous classic DHG works such as ‘666 International’ and ‘Satanic Art’ whilst being taken to a whole new level.
This edition of ‘A Umbra Omega’ will be released as a 4 panel CD Digipack with 16 page booklet
The brutal 2018 studio album from the reinvigorated UK Death Metal legends Cancer.
Cancer marks 30 years of existence with its sixth full-length studio album that reunites all three original core members - John Walker (guitar/vocals), Ian Buchanan (bass) and Carl Stokes (drums) - for the first time since 1995.
With interest in the band increasing in recent years - including numerous high-profile festival appearances - Shadow Gripped sees Cancer return to its classic inspirational sound.
The album features ten songs of brutal old school Death Metal and was recorded at Foel studios with Simon Efemey (Paradise Lost, Napalm Death, Amorphis) handling production and mixing duties alongside the band.

An LP / DVD set featuring a peerless performance from the Norwegian industrial Black Metal godfathers (captured live at the esteemed Roadburn Festival 2017).
The pioneering industrial black metal force to emerge in the early 1990s, Mysticum brought to the world a completely unique brand of extreme and Psychedelic discordant Black Metal with insane drum machine patterns and synths.
They were originally signed to Mayhem guitarist Euronymous' Deathlike Silence Productions label. However, this venture was cut short following his death, forcing Mysticum to look elsewhere for the release of their eventual debut album and genre classic, In the Streams of Inferno (1996). A perfect concoction of cold, primitive Black Metal and forward-thinking ideas, Mysticum has had a lasting and profound impact on many since the 1990s, so when the long-talked about follow-up album, Planet Satan, surfaced in 2014, these godfathers of the scene rightly returned to reclaim their throne.
In light of the release, Mysticum decided that a return to the stage would be the next logical step, but it had to be done their way, without compromise; and so, with Herr General Cerastes, Dr Best and Svartravn stood upon three 3 metre high podiums surrounded by screens, with one of the most intense light and sound spectacles witnessed at an Extreme Metal show, Mysticum stunned the crowd into submission.
Isebakke’ was the debut studio album from Mork, originally released in 2013. Harking back to the glory days of black metal while establishing an atmosphere of its own, ‘Isebakke’ was a masterclass in deep dark cold riffing and vintage black metal execution, plus included a cover of Onslaught’s thrash classic ‘Power From Hell’.
This new edition of ‘Isebakke’ includes a bonus track in the form of a cover version of the hypnotic Burzum track ‘Valen’. The booklet includes lyrics to the tracks for the first time.
Featuring guest appearances from Dimmu Borgir’s Silenoz and 1349’s Seidemann.
Primarily inspired by the works of Darkthrone & Burzum, Mork’s third album Eremittens Dal stands as a tribute to the spirit of old-school Norwegian Black Metal. Raw production and ice-cold riffs combine with the band's dynamic and atmospheric twists and the album effortlessly alternates between the ferocious and the melancholy. Covering themes of hate, death, seclusion and misanthropy, both lyrically and in the way that a one-man-band makes music in solitude, the music is perfectly fitting of the title (translated as Valley Of The Hermit).
The suitably grim pencil cover art comes courtesy of Jannicke Wiese-Hansen, who famously made artwork for early Burzum and Satyricon releases. Having featured guest vocals from Darkthrone’s Nocturno Culto on its previous album, Eremittens Dal includes special guest appearances from Dimmu Borgir's Silenoz who contributes vocals on two tracks, plus additional bass parts from 1349's Seidemann.

Combining elements of modern and traditional death metal with 70's prog rock and folk, originally Finnish progressive death metal outfit BARREN EARTH, now reinforced by Faroese native lead singer Jón Aldará, managed to build up an excellent reputation with only two albums. Their debut Curse of the Red River (2010) and its follow-up The Devil's Resolve (2012) have already solidified the band as one of the most promising upcoming acts of the genre. Now BARREN EARTH are ready to reach another milestone in their career with the releases of On Lonely Towers, which takes the band’s experimentation and heaviness to even further heights.

After a period of 6 years in the wilderness, Norway’s exponents of groove-laden black metal are back with a new album, ‘Til Endes‘. Undoubtedly the band’s strongest work to date, ‘Til Endes‘ explores the dark foreboding corners of the metal spectrum with eerie riffs, grim vocals courtesy of mysterious frontman Gard, and catchy hooks which are so often ignored in the genre.

Gift of Gods is the name given to this new beast from the mind of Ted Skjellum, otherwise known as Nocturno Culto, & notorious as one half of the legendary Norwegian black metal band, Darkthrone. For Gift of Gods, Nocturno turns his hand to tracks of pure heavy metal excellence, taking in a vast array of influences from decades past to concoct a special whirlwind of melodic riffing & headbanging anthems on this 30 minute heavy metal pilgrimage. ’Receive’ also features a rendition of ’Looking For an Answer’ originally by obscure Swedish 80’s band, Universe.
A labour of love over several years since its initial inception, Nocturno performs all instruments himself & has also been responsible for recording this mini-album at his own studio. ’Receive’ was mixed & mastered by Jack Control at Enormous Door, having recently worked with Nocturno on Darkthrone’s ’The Underground Resistance’.
