NEW ALBUM!
Gatefold cover, double LP with glued-in 16 pages booklet (30x30cm)
Following 2018 Ourdom, Solar Fields focused on several different activities: the Undiscovered Stories EP, a further Origin album (both released in 2019), the digital-only Studio Jupiter Live Session and of course the re-release of his own back catalogue via Sidereal.

Each song conveys different moods and the sound palette varies from melancholic to joyful, dark to bright, taking its time to plant their seeds into their listener.
This is what you shall expect from Formations: a broad spectrum of sounds and emotions. As always when it comes to the works of Solar Fields, you will find yourself amazed by new details and shades at every further spin.
A kaleidoscopic effort, Solar Fields new album may very well be the right choice for every mood you fall into, just tune it to the right track and you’ll see…

An observational ode to shallow vessels of communication, “Romanticide” is the silkily somber spearhead to kick the door open for Asphodel Wine.
Sarah and Zachary’s universes collided in Autumn 2015, when their respective bands SubRosa and Minsk were both invited to support Cult of Luna on a West Coast U.S. tour.
‘Possessing an intention to pierce the clamour with silky rays of musical moonlight, the lyrics to each individual song are their own personal universe. But the album “Slowdance Macabre” as a sequential whole has a certain planned madness in the way of musical narrative- the ascension up the perceived mountain of one’s own spirit, that instead reveals itself as an active volcano- to its inevitable eruption and the subsequent plummet through the endless catacombs of the human experience.
"Sembler Deah is one of many projects that you will find in the colossal parallel universe that is Church of Ra. If you don’t live under a damn rock, you will know that the mighty five-piece Amenra are one of the central pieces of that institution. Sembler Deah sees Colin H. Van Eeckhout and Mathieu J. Vandekerckhove from Amenra joining forces with the French Dehn Sora from TrehaSektori.
This is the debut of this three-piece, and the promotional flyer gives us a tiny glimpse of what we will find in these 35 minutes, divided into four different tracks. We read on the flyer: “Gathered by a sole ambience. Between ethereal soundscapes. Knotted drones and falls.A three-headed hand surrounding a light in a cold.Engulfing and ardent
At the end of 2015, CHVE made quite an impression with his debut solo full album "Rasa". CHVE is best known for his work with Amenra, but the solo work took a different turn both musically and stylistically. Instead of the brute primal force and walls of sound, CHVE's solo work is very introspective and intimistic, making use solely of his voice, a hurdy gurdy and the bodhran. The approach might be very different, but the music is equally devastating and brutally honest."Rasa" was the studio incarnation of CHVE, produced with the aid of Dehn Sora (Treha Sektori, Sembler Deah, ), but during his many live shows, the music transformed organically in a distinctly different way. To document the transformation from the studio to a live solo CHVE performance, this beautiful new live record is presented. The album captures the music in a truly unique way: it was recorded by one man in one take in an old tram, amidst the busy Saturday city life of Ghent, and was immediately cut to vinyl afterwards. This live rendition of "Rasa"is augmented with a unique interpretation of Nico's Le Petit Chevalier. Mixed by Aaron Harris (ISIS, Palms, Deftones, Tool, etc.)

Svart Records turn ears towards a new wave of sound from Sweden, PÅGÅ and their wildly original new album The Evil Year.
PÅGÅ describe The Evil Year in their own words:
Outlandish pop and psychedelic noir rock from Sweden’s Åhman brothers, Pelle and Gottfrid (ex vocalist and bassist from In Solitude). Hand-picked by Mat Kvohst McNerney (Hexvessel, Beastmilk, Grave Pleasures) for his Secret Trees imprint via Svart.
Kvohst describes PÅGÅ as “Post-Punk freakery, like Birthday Party era Cave, avant-garde Bowie and the darkness of Coil with unique artistic flair that’s in a world of its own.”
The Evil Year features beautifully outlandish artwork by Pelle Åhman with layout by Erik Danielsson (Watain). Deluxe ltd edition, numbered, purple coloured gatefold vinyl (first pressing limited 500 copies only!) with lyric & artwork booklet, digipak CD and digital release via all digital platforms.
Named after the geographic formations of the seismically volatile Cascadian coastal mountains, loscil’s coast/range/arc// reissue features new artwork and an additional track. Remastered by James Plotkin and available on vinyl for the first time.
“This is ambient music in the classic sense.” — Boomkat
