With their sophomore album Imperative Imperceptible Impulse, Ad Nauseam took a step forward in terms of composition, musical structures and sound. Music is not intended as a mere sequence of riffs that sounds well one after the other, but is now a naturally ordered structure where almost every musical event refers to the past and/or predicts the future, generating very layered and complex patterns dominated by polyphony and polyrhythms and where each instrument has its own role and is essential in the whole. The music represents a merging of many different styles, the most prominent ones being extreme death/black metal, avantgarde, jazz, post-core, doom/sludge and ambient.
The composition process of Imperative Imperceptible Impulse has been heavily influenced by 20th century classical composers like Stravinsky, Šostakóvič, Xenakis, Scelsi, Penderecki and Ligeti, to name a few. Both the concepts of harmony and melody have been put into discussion to get a music where harmony is obtained by means of disharmony and melody by dissonances. To push this method even further, a unique tuning system has been conceived, to allow a new harmonic vocabulary and to eradicate the players from the comfort zone of the usual melodic patterns every guitar/bass player is used to.
Project of Lord Vrăjitor (Warmoon Lord, Old sorcery)
Gone are the days of high adventure, but there are portals and webways that cross paths with our mundane lives. Prepare your journey to the war-torn, magical and baroque world of Argenthorns!
A new, mysterious, symphonic black metal project from the land of the thousand lakes will take you on an epic cloak and dagger adventure. Argenthorns is the solo endeavor of Mason Rofocale, multi-instrumentalist and narrator of our tale, who will recount unspeakable perils and obscure enemies. A quest was laid, and The Ravening marks the first chapter of Mason Rofocale’s occult chronicle through lands unknown!
A black metal tale told the way it used in the ‘90s, with piercing screams, fascinating keyboards and icy cold riffs, for fans of (early) Dimmu Borgir, Bal-Sagoth, Odium and Limbonic Art.

In the year marking their 30th anniversary, The Frozen Autumn is back with a new release featuring six new songs, and its title, The Shape Of Things To Come, already hints at the topics that are the closest to the band’s heart.
Leimotivs such as dreamlike visions, parallel realities, recollections of past lives, unfold between rarefied landscapes, passions immortalized in a suspended time, crepuscular atmospheres where the promise of different possible futures, if only partially revealed, is dwelling.
The Shape Of Things To Come resumes the narrative from The Fellow Traveller, yet it is brought to new sound horizons, where layers of electronic sequences merge with rhythmic weaves and pulsing energies, in the unique style that's been the trademark of the band for these last three decades.

Spanish doom/post-metal quintet Ikarie is back with their sophomore album Arde, two years after the acclaimed debut Cuerpos En Sombra. Here is how the band introduces their work…
“If Cuerpos En Sombra was about pain, Arde is about transformative rage. In the first part we presented a series of characters and desolate places, with bodies and souls sunk in misery and mud, of ghosts who are victims but are not aware of the fact that they are being victims.
In this part of the trilogy that doesn’t happen, although the denunciation and lamentation is maintained, it is no longer spoken of the land in that sense but of burning everything for a new beginning, from that fire, so deep and painful, which hanges the shape of things, like magma and the creation of stars, like a collision of planets, there is no way back after that.
With the advice of a forensic psychologist and criminologist, we have selected passages from history, victims and paradigmatic and tremendous characters that exemplify Hannah Arendt’s concept of the “banality of evil” properly, because as a society we are part of it, and therefore, it is a call to revolution.”

Pioneering French dark atmospheric music since 1996, Dark Sanctuary is back with their eighth album, Cernunnos, the first in fourteen years. Following the EP Iterum released in 2022, it marks the group's return to the front of the stage.
Cernunnos is an ancient Gaulish god who embodied the biological cycle of nature, simultaneously reflecting life and death, germination and decay, like the deer, the animal that represents him, who loses its antlers in winter to recover them in spring. This title perfectly symbolizes the history of Dark Sanctuary after these years of artistic break and this rebirth.
Composed during the year 2022, the 11 songs of this album make it one of the most varied that Dark Sanctuary have made so far, oscillating between what has characterized the band for two decades and new musical horizons. Both dark and emotional, Cernunnos is a new milestone in the history of the group.

the Belarusian quintet delivers a fast-paced, cold and pure black metal which is looking at both the classic European sound and its more contemporary interpretations. You will find loads of riffs, as well as the odd solo and melodic hook, which will relentlessly drag you toward the Darkness.

Bosco Sacro is an Italian quartet founded in 2020. Its members have been constantly releasing and performing music within the Italian and European underground scene during the last decade: Paolo Monti (The Star Pillow, DAIMON), Giulia Parin Zecchin (Julinko), Luca Scotti (Tristan da Cunha) and Francesco Vara (Tristan da Cunha, Altaj).
Inspired by visions of sublime, reconciling vastness coming from the contact with nature and landscapes, united by a genuine devoutness to the practice of music as an healing, liberating movement, their style features dreamy atmospheres, slowed-down rhythms and an intense sonic and spiritual depth. Their musical roots come basically from ambient, doom and trip-hop.
The creation of their debut album Gem came as an impressively spontaneous and clean, natural process, leading to the creation of a sound which unites all past experiences of each individual musician into a new expressive language. With the skillfull contribution of producer Lorenzo Stecconi (who worked with Amenra, Zu, Ufomammut and Lento among the many), Gem was recorded in an unique session during the first days of October 2021 at AMM Monteggiori Studio, a peaceful place in the Tuscan hills surrounded by silence and woods.
