Bloedmaan, returns with its third studio album “Circle of the Moon”, barely 1 year after the second full length album «Vampyric War in Blood» and 3 years since the debut album “Castle Inside the Eclipse. Like its predecessors the ingredient to Bloedmaan’s music varies very little from the main course, so those who are familiar with the previous records already know what to expect.
Rönarg’s signature guitar sound filled with the illustrious melodies never wavers to fail to draw the complete attention of the audience, Once again, one can drift away into the world of vampirism and linger on a journey leaded by the splendid guitar work accompanied by blasting drums and sharp bass elements which are entangled in a raw, yet clear production.
Just like on the previous record, there’s also room for a little bit of experimental addition, such as the ghost like ballad which’s magic really comes to life due to the haunting clean vocals. Furthermore Rönarg delivers again a disgusting form of shrieking vocals throughout the entire album that praises the sound of the dead.
Each song stands as a milestone on this record and yes, Bloedmaan has done it again! Another masterpiece of a record has been added to its fast growing discography! Every old school black metal fan, yet, fans of melodic black metal or even symphonic black metal (old emperor fans) will most likely enjoy this record from start til finish. Vampyric Melodic Black Metal at its finest!
The album comes with a 16 page booklet + Poster and full artwork design. Limited to 500 copies on CD.

Draugr, a frequently new band hailing from the Carinthia area in Austria delivers forth their second full length album “Ahnenfeuer - Ginnungagap Chaos Pt. I”.
On this record Draugr shows a more mature side as their musicianship has drastically evolved compared to their debut album “Unter Yggdrasils Schatten”, which was released 2 years ago. The production of the album is clear, yet heavy and the overall sound is super professional which is exactly what this type of music needs.
The music itself can be compared to second wave black metal, old school riffing, furious blasting, pumping basslines and harsh shrieking vocals although the album. The guitars deliver some nice melodic parts, to beautiful tremolo picking and back to super-fast classic chord riffing, where the drums come in as a natural support to the guitars if not being the leading instrument that takes this album to a higher level with all the extra elements that are hearable in the background. The bass guitars riffs its way through the album with fury and absolute aggressiveness which gives the album that heavy low sound to bang your heads too. And the vocals as said above are harsh, shrieking and above all well mixed into the music which makes the album very pleasant to listen too.
Draugr definitely managed to deliver a fantastic beast of a second album that all fans of Classic Black Metal to Pagan Black Metal will be able to enjoy from start til end. Pure Black Metal Madness is what you can expect on this record! Hail Loki.

Dystopia returns with their 5th studio album entitled: «De Verboden Diepte II: De Weg van de Meeste Weerstand», which is the direct successor for their previous album “De Verboden Diepte I” which was released 2 years ago.
Once again the band explores their sound with much diversity and dwells even deeper into the atmospheric black metal sound combined with post metal riffs, experimenting wider with their orchestra and trumpets yet holding close to the original essence of old school black metal.
“De Verboden Diepte II” delivers only 2 songs, yet what a journey these 2 lengthy tracks present. The album goes from full fury with blast beats and shrieking vocals to calm dreamy post moments before it takes you into a medieval landscape of sounds. The guitars deliver a lot of variety from chord riffing to melodic parts to even a few outstanding solos and in combination with the beautiful trumpets, it creates the right atmosphere which the bass notes underlay perfectly. The drums are tight, offering a wide range of different tempos and structures which pushes the album to higher level. Last, but certainly above all not least! The vocals are tremendous!!! From screaming to clean shrieks, to mournful singing, an absolute pleasure to the ears while listening your way through this record.
It’s not often that a band can surpass a record that was already as perfect as it stands, but this doesn’t count for Dystopia! De Verboden Diepte II is of definitely of equal value as its predecessor if not even stronger! Once again these Dutchies delivered a solid, NO, a masterpiece of an album that every fan of Old School Black Metal, Atmospheric Black Metal and even Post or Pagan Black Metal can enjoy to the fullest from start til end!
Full coloured cover with white inner jacket + Insert & A2 Poster. Limited to 122 copies on 12" Vinyl.
Azaghal, the black metal pioneers hailing from Finland are back with their 13th studio album “Nekrohelios”.
Another sinister record by these old timers showing the new kids on the scene how to produce a quality record in the traditional old school way of True Finnish Black Metal!
Compared to their 2 previous albums “Alttarimme on Luista Tehty” & “Valo Pohjoisesta”, you can clearly hear on Nekrohelios that Azaghal went back to their original sound and roots from their early albums such as their long time classic Mustamaa.
The album starts with a haunting keyboard piece that lures your right back into that early 90’s vibes followed by the first opening song in full fury and blast beats! Azaghal is known for their well written guitar melodies and structures, obscure sound and straight forward pounding battery combined with harsh vocals that shriek throughout the album.
However, there is also enough variety going on, mid tempo’s, break parts, choruses and a lot of keyboard pieces which create that sinister feeling (think of early emperor without sounding symphonic). Thirteen also delivers a lot of variety with his vocals, from harsh to low sounding screams, but also adding clean vocals and almost choir voices.
All in all, Azaghal once again delivered an album that is outstanding in the ways of True Black Metal and with this the veterans show that they’re still far from done! True Finnish Black Metal that every fan of real underground black metal will enjoy from start till finish.
The album comes with a 24 page booklet and full artwork design. Limited to 500 copies on CD.

Those who are familiar with both mentioned bands know what to expect from this gentlemen and can even hear similarities, however, Bloedmaan stands completely on its own.
