Astral Winter is a Melodic Black Metal band from Tasmania, Australia and was the very first band that signed to Immortal Frost Productions back in 2009. Perdition II is the band’s 4th full length album already and the follow up to their 2013th - 2nd full length album Perdition I. The “Perdition” albums are a very calm and majestic piece of art that focus on the instrumental beauty of this particular genre. Perdition II is therefore written in the same line as its predecessor but with more magnificence so you can enjoy the journey with more ease.

"...For The Devil Speaks The Truth" è il secondo album in studio del trio e, a un primo ascolto, potrebbe sembrare un ordinario e onesto disco black metal: tuttavia si possono notare delle escursioni tanto inaspettate quanto piacevoli su lidi quasi power-epic metal con tanto di voce pulita, le quali donano al tutto una certa maestosità, incastonandosi perfettamente nelle strutture nere come la pece, fatte di riff gelidi e assoli che non si risparmiano in quanto a melodia, pur restando perfettamente in linea con il resto."

This turned out to be one of the few releases, this year, that truly harkens back to the 'good ol' days' of Black Metal, as it solemnly bows (bangs) it's head with staunchly crossed arms and planted feet. To even at least somewhat meet modern preconceptions of production standards, and still sound irrevocably raw, is hard to achieve.
