HAUTAKAMMIO was conceived in 2012 by Grim666 (Lathspell, Kalmankantaja, Oath), R. (Malicious), Nagh (Kalmankantaja, Devouring Star) & Lima (Lathspell, Sawhill Sacrifice, Azaghal etc.). The goal was always to present uncompromising, relentless black metal without gimmicks. The first album “Kukaan Ei Opasta Teitä Pimeässä” was written and recorded during the end of 2012, then released by DtB in summer 2013. After the release of the debut album Ruho (Lathspell, Scarecrow, Frogskin) was incorporated as the second guitarist much needed to execute live shows.

OATH is the creation of Grim666 and V-Khaoz, founded in the last days of December 2012. After conversing the matter of joining forces to create uncompromising and utterly antichristian black metal, the logical result was to take the some of the influence of Grim666's former band Lathspell and V-Khaoz’s early work on Azaghal, then adding a unique atmosphere that can only be found when likeminded people begin to create the dark arts.
The first songs were recorded in January 2013, later to be released on a split ep with Hiisi. Constantly writing and rehearsing new material, the first ep “Light Of The Black Dawn” was ready to be recorded in the end of winter 2013, and quickly after self-released on pro-cdr.
At summertime Oath does not create music, but as autumn’s darkness set in, the creative process began for the first full-length album “Saatanan Myrsky Yllä Pyhän Maan” (Satan’s Storm Over The Holy Land). When the recording process finally took place in the beginning of 2014, it was decided that a more primitive approach was to fit the sound of the new songs, delivering seven unholy hymns paying respect to the old ones.
In Early 2014 Oath has signed a contract with Immortal Frost Productions for the release of their Debut Full Length album “Saatanan Myrsky Yllä Pyhän Maan

Sarkrista bring very energetic, powerful and hammering Black Metal of a most traditional kind, generally comparable to the Scandinavian Second Wave-trend, yet not limited to that specific current. The rhythms are pounding and fast-forward, with melodies that equal, in quality, many colleagues from Scandinavia, North-America, Poland and Germany. Besides, the production is a perfect example of how this kind of shit must smell: rough and rusty, primitive and uncompromising. For fans of everything in between, let’s say, Sargeist, Judas Iscariot, End (the Greek one), Horna, Taake or Paragon Belial. 92/100
 
The other two compositions on Those Who Preach Perdition are performed under the Unhuman Disease-moniker by sole member Neil ‘Nocturnus Dominus’ Sequichie, whom you might know from higher mentioned Forbidden Eye, as well as, for example, Thornspawn, Black Devotion, Rituals Of A Blasphemer, Antichristian Kommando and some others. With Unhuman Disease, he recorded more than just a hand full of albums before, as well as a split (with Freitod, to be more specifically). This material was recorded quite a while ago at the Temple Of Bones Studio, but unreleased until this opportunity.
This material is rawer, faster and uglier than Sarkrista’s, and much more ‘primitive’ in approach and attitude. …and sound… The hateful stuff is based on sulphur and venom, translated in an aural anti-orgasm of nihilistic morbidity (can someone explain me what I mean with this? Anyone at all?). No, seriously, the whole sounds much more necrotic, and the intros and outros do even add a suffocating sphere of horrific evilness. There are hints of earlier Darkthrone, Forest, Pest, Carpathian Forest and Neetzach, including the lo-fi grotesquery we’re all craving for….

The Frenchman described his musical themes as those of ‘introspection and spiritual rising’. On ‘The Sun Is Dead’ the multi instrumentalist flexes his muscle, against a wall of epic blast beats.
