Selling CD, Vinyl, DVD, Merchandise and Second hand - Extreme Metal and Dark music
DANHEIM is the work of Copenhagen-based musician and producer Reidar Schæfer Olsen, a leading voice in Nordic folk and Viking-inspired music. With over 1 billion streams and music featured in the Vikings TV series, DANHEIM has become a cornerstone of the genre.
‘Heimferd’ is a journey guided by instinct and atmosphere rather than a fixed mythological storyline. The album drifts between pounding percussive force and hushed minimalism, creating a soundscape that feels ancient yet alive. Each track evokes a return to something older and deeper: a cultural current running beneath memory, a call that is both familiar and distant. From the storm-driven rhythms of “Stormdans” to the haunting expanse of “Yggdrasil II”, DANHEIM balances intensity with restraint, weaving a sonic ritual that resonates with timeless Nordic heritage.
Entirely composed, performed, and produced by Olsen, ‘Heimferd’ stands is both an immersive listening experience and a personal letter to his ancestral heritage.
For fans of HEILUNG, WARDRUNA, GARMARNA, MYRKUR.
Moonlight Sorcery, the Finnish symphonic black metal sensation of 2022, is back with a new mini album featuring three brand-new tracks and a cover.
While hard at work on their debut studio album, Loitsumestari Taikakallo, Haaska and Ruttomieli took a divergent path that brought them to compose and record what would become Nightwind: The Conqueror From The Stars. This has been one of the best kept secrets of 2022, but now the time has come to unveil the new spells which have been conjured in the magical dungeons of Moonlight Sorcery.
Nightwind is in every aspect the follow-up to the acclaimed debut EP Piercing Through The Frozen Eternity, which means an illuminating, blasting example of how symphonic black metal from the ‘90s can be composed and performed three decades later without losing an ounce of its urgency and fascination. And magic. And malice. And evil.
Pressed on grey marble heavy vinyl. Comes with an 8-page booklet and a download card.
