While waiting for a real new album, what we get here released by WTC is a collection of all Sargeist songs which were previously available solely on vinyl, tape and compilation releases. All songs have been carefully re-mastered to keep up the audio quality.

Track 1 is taken from the split with Merrimack.
Track 2 is taken from the compilation CD entitled "Jatkosota."
Track 3 is taken from the compilation tape entitled "..and Jesus Wept."
Track 4 is taken from the split with Temple of Baal.
Track 5 was originally a bonus track from the "Satanic Black Devotion" LP.
Track 6 is taken from the compilation LP entitled "Tormenting Legends."
Track 7 is taken from the compilation LP entitled "Finnish-German Alliance."
Track 8 was originally a bonus track from the "Disciple of the Heinous Path" LP.
Track 9 is taken from the split with Bahimiron.
Track 10 is taken from the split with Drowning the Light.
Tracks 11 and 12 are taken from the the "Dark Embrace" 7" EP.

Più scuro di un nembo, fatto di dolore, alienazione e tenebre IV: An Arrow in Heart, il nuovo album pubblicato dai francesi Aosoth, è come un male angosciante che tinge di nero ed infetta tutto ciò che sfiora.
Seguendo la direzione già intrapresa nel precedente full-lenght III – Violence & Variation, uscito nel 2011, la black metal band accentua ulteriormente le atmosfere lugubri e tenebrose, annegando nell’inchiostro più nero brani che opprimono e soffocano, impregnati di elettricità statica e funeree minacce.
Un album dall’ampio minutaggio e dalle tinte particolarmente fosche, che si inserisce a pieno titolo nella scia del religious black metal, pagando però un tributo piuttosto pesante ai connazionali Blut Aus Nord, che sembrano gravare sulla band come un ombra sinistra. Stesso sound malato, stesse chitarre pastose, distorte fino a renderle quasi nero fango fluidificato, che cola, perde forma, e ricopre tutto di una spessa coltre viscida e vischiosa.
