Zwielicht exists as such since 2002, but was called Gordem beforehand. It was not until 2005 the unholy legion decided to rebaptize to the name Zwielicht, which lasts until to this day. The first physical emanation was a self released demo tape in 2006: "Leibestod". Onwards and downwards the spiral the next was in 2010 when the first EP – Unholy Legion - was released via the very own label Back to the Bone which was also founded in said year. Zwielicht’s debut album, With love from Sinister, was released on CD in 2014, on Tape in 2015 and in 2022 on Vinyl and as a special Tape version. The latter two were published by Idiots Records and Ancient Spirit Terror. In the same year the unholy legion started the recordings for their sophomore album which will see its first light on 9th February 2024.

Pestilential Shadows is a black metal band hailing from Sydney, Australia. Playing in local black metal bands since 1997, in 2003 Balam decided to form Pestilential Shadows with the goal of creating atmospheric and intense black metal and its reputation as one of the most innovative bands in the black metal scene.
Throughout their career, Pestilential Shadows has continued to release music that pushes the boundaries of black metal, remained true to their vision of creating intense and atmospheric black metal and has continued to experiment with different sounds and instrumentation, pushing the boundaries of the genre and creating a unique sound that is instantly recognizable. The band's music has been described as "otherworldly" and "haunting", and their influence can be felt throughout the black metal scene.
2023 marks the 20 year anniversary and a new era for the band. With the current line-up, now consisting of Balam, Basilysk, Krvna Vatra & Mourn, Pestilential Shadows are poised to release their 7th album “Devil’s Hammer” (Last Gasp Studios) through Northern Silence - a swirling maelstrom of aggressive, melodic and complex instrumentation & vocals.
Collector's Edition in 4-panel digipack, limited to 500 copies. More than two decades after the band split up back in the 90s, their first ever live appearance with this material took place in Freiburg, Germany in 2019. This is not a live-recording, however. "Medieval Demons MMXIX" is a new interpretation of the band's first demo from 1995 that nowadays they also perform live.
Depressive Silence was founded by RAL & B.S. from Mightiest in 1994. The band is one of the cult acts and forerunners of the Dungeon Synth genre alongside Mortiis and Jim Kirkwood.
Back then, the genre wasn’t even called Dungeon Synth yet, and only later got that monicker, probably named after Mortiis’ label Dark Dungeon Music. At first it was just Dark Ambient. Nonetheless it was already something special in that it combined elements from Black Metal (more visually and thematically rather than musically) and fantasy into a new style that appealed to some Black Metal fans as well as those who preferred keyboard music and role playing games. Once the name Dungeon Synth had been established the appeal to (Black) Metal fans became much greater and the genre really took off, with Depressive Silence as one of the most beloved and well known bands of this rapidly growing genre.

Ponte Del Diavolo bridges the gap between two separate worlds. After all, the band are named after the real “Bridge of the Devil”, a pointedly steep road that medieval peasants had to cross on their way to Italy.
Though formed out of a friendly jam session, Ponte Del Diavolo already made for quite the eclectic pairing when the five members officially banded together during the winter of 2020 in Turin, the finely cultivated Italian metropolis. Whereas most metal bands are spearheaded by dueling guitars, this one writhes on the slick-yet-scaly back of not one but two bassists.
Their debut album, ‘Fire Blades from the Tomb’ forges classic, cultish doom metal with modern bents of post-punk and dark wave. Lead single and opening track “Demone” is whipped along by a boiled black bassline. Heck, you could mistake vocalist Erba del Diavolo for Siouxsie Soux, the way she cooly flips between frantic talk-singing and bleak, seductive croons.
Cross over into the Italian dark arts with Ponte Del Diavolo.
For fans of ELECTRIC WIZARD, DARKTHRONE, THE DEVIL’S BLOOD, MESSA.
The band came into being at the end of 2013, thanks to the artistic collaboration of Sinai and Aharon.
Their first release, an EP, saw the light of day in 2014, marking their musical debut.
In 2016, the band released their debut album entitled "Har HaKarmel", exploring themes related to the decay of paganism.
In 2019, the band released a split in collaboration with Darkenhöld, under the aegis of Les Acteurs de l'Ombre.
Continuing their momentum, 2020 saw the release of their second album, dubbed "? ?e?? ? ßas??e??", distributed by Les Acteurs de l'Ombre. This album delves into the relationship between politics and divinity.
In 2023, the band reveals its third album, entitled "De Republica".
An ode to the Republic, defending the rule of law, egalitarianism and freedom.
Sacralizing the Revolution as a popular expression of the struggle against despotism and the attainment of freedom.
From 19th-century France to the present day, evokes the periods of political instability when the construction of a social republic was able to emerge through the blood of social struggles.
a new opus has been invoked in the ritual chambers of Daemonicreation studio, mixed and mastered once again by George Emanuel in Pentagram Studio, Athens, Greece.
The quintessence of this work is drawn from the divine feminine sexuality, the liberated woman as a initiatress, in Mystical Union with Chaos. She raises high her Chalice and offers her blood, the Elixir of Ecstasy. Bestiality, pushed to the limit, manifests itself in its pure glory, then metamorphoses into psychedelic layers of ambience, progressive low frequencies and sacerdotal chants, to form the scrolls on which are inscribed the visions and complex formulas of a Satanic Charnel Esotericism.
OBSIDYEN is a Black Metal band founded in Albi (81) in 2019.
Their first musical attempts revolved around biblical mythologies, before slowly shifting towards the « Ancient Astronaut Theory », popularized by Erich von Däniken in 1968.
According to this theory, humanity has been visited by non-human beings in the past. These traumatic anthropological and technological encounters led to the creation of polytheistic religions and myths in antiquity.
OBSIDYEN transcribes these subversive subjects through massive and powerful riffs, coupled with liturgical cold melodies, resulting in an atmospheric harmony that adventures the listener into the lands of the past, the stars and beyond.
The band released their first self-produced album, "ANTEDILUVIAN SCRIPTUM" in 2020, with subjects including Mesopotamian and Sumerian cultures, the Old Testament or the
myth of Atlantis.
Very soon after the release of this first album, Omega has created a mythological trilogy based on the "Cult of the Serpent" around the world.
The first episode is called "LITANY OF IAH", and takes place in
ancient Egypt.
THE VISION BLEAK return in grand style: The German duo's seventh full-length "Weird Tales" constitutes a monumental tribute to the eponymous American pulp magazine and other tales of mystery and dark imagination. The album consists of a single track that is divided into internal chapters, which are each inspired by weird tales, poems, and other literature of horror and the macabre. On "Weird Tales", THE VISION BLEAK are referring to eminent writers of the legendary magazine such as H. P. Lovecraft and Clark Ashton Smith, but also allude to authors that were never featured in the magazine, for example Edgar Allen Poe and Lafcadio Hearn, whose "Fantastics and Other Fancies" was very influential for this album. THE VISION BLEAK are pulling every register of their enormous musical prowess. The chapters range stylistically from flamboyant gothic rock via dark doom to harsh black and death metal parts – and about everything in between. All the thrilling elements that the following of the duo has come to expect and love is present on this record: the dramatic and theatrical, the harsh and heavy, the melancholic and eerie, and also catchy and symphonic moments. All of this is woven into a dense sonic tapestry, which is held together by a recurring ebb and flow that is reminiscent of classical composition. THE VISION BLEAK were born out of the friendship between guitarist, bass-player and harsh vocalist Markus Stock aka Ulf Theodor Schwadorf and drummer and singer Tobias Schönemann alias Allen B. Konstanz. After first experimenting with a more gothic rock formula, THE VISION BLEAK shaped up when the duo began to involve their mutual love for the horror genre. Already their debut album, "The Deathship Has a New Captain" (2004) became an instant success in both gothic and metal circles and is by now regarded as a classic. As the debut album's theme was based on classical horror movies, the Germans aptly dubbed their style: horror metal. With the following albums, THE VISION BLEAK cemented their reputation as purveyors of classy and quality music. Each full-length revolves around themes from the horror genre that can easily be deduced from their respective titles. "Carpathia" (2005) was followed by "The Wolves Go Hunt Their Prey (2007) and "Set Sail to Mystery (2010), "Witching Hour" (2013), and "The Unknown" (2016). THE VISION BLEAK, the masters of horror metal, are finally ready to gift the world their most ambitious song so far: "Weird Tales" is a beautiful and heartfelt homage to a poetic golden age of horror and mystery literature. Listen with care, but always be wary of the eldritch and forbidding sounds that lurk within this song!
