THE FIVE SENSES OIL WORKS BY SATURNO BUTTO’
They are a series of panels, 15 in total, divided into three parts, with a common denominator, the “5 senses”, precisely. The constant of all the works of the project is undoubtedly eros, declined in three levels, starting from the beauty and sensuality of the first series, to then move on to the 5 frames of what could be a video clip in the second part, until reaching the “pornographic echoes” of the last sequence.
However, even in this last series of works (as in the previous ones) always with an attention to elegance and compositional beauty, avoiding any vulgarity. In short, it is a revisitation of the theme, according to my personal interpretation, divided into three blocks of 5 works, making use of the collaboration of 5 models.
In the first, the subjects present on each table are two and each piece corresponds to one of the 5 senses, there is no sequentiality. In the second block (ritual) the 5 models are represented for each table who in turn mark, in an ordered sequence this time, sight, hearing, touch, smell and taste, as if it were an “initiatory ritual”. The third block of works sees the presence of three models for each painting who, without a precise order (exactly as in the first series) interpret, in a much more explicit key, one of the five senses for each single work.

German PRAG 83 delivers mellow, sublime and dark alternate folk – rugged to the bone and close to earth. Musically unique with elements that reminds of the Katatonia´s ”Discouraged ones” era but also not far away from the works by the northern woodsmen of Lönndom

Katla is an Icelandic band featuring ex-Sólstafir drummer and visual artist Guðmundur Óli Pálmason and singer/multi-instrumentalist Einar Thorberg Guðmundsson (Fortíð, Potentiam). Named in tribute to one of Iceland's greatest active volcanos, Katla creates powerful, panoramic music where shimmering guitars, crushing melodies and atmospheric density meet dark, entrancing power.
Katla's debut album, "Móðurástin", shines a spotlight on the band's hook-heavy, horizon-stretching sound. The lyrics tell tales of living in a country of contrasts; a land where fire and ice co-exist and dark winters are offset by the summer's midnight sun. Iceland: a country where insular existence has spurred a rich and vibrant culture.
"Móðurástin", Icelandic for (a) Mother's Love, might seem like a strange title for a metal album, but Katla dares to be different. What on Earth is stronger than a mother's love? Nothing. Not hate, not lust, not greed.
