Selling CD - Extreme Metal and Dark music
“In The Cesspit Of Divine Decay” is a concept album based on the diary of guitarist Martin Meyer Sparvath’s maternal great-grandfather Jesper Wilhem Meyer, who reluctantly fought for the German Empire during The Great War (1914-1918).
The second album by the Dutch group Our Throne marks the transition between seasons. Moving on from the cold, desolate vibes of their impressive debut, Withered and Forgotten , the band now welcomes the autumn with *Amber and Gold*. Featuring the recognizable style of "MXM"—who's also behind Cold Body Radiation and An Autumn for Crippled Children—alongside his bandmate “J.,” this follow-up album is a solid recommendation for fans of Atmospheric Black Metal and Blackgaze. Our Throne taps into nature's raw energy to create a sound that's aggressive yet gentle. In tracks like "Amber and Gold," it's clear how the band captures a bittersweet feeling, blending melancholy with a touch of hope—a connection that resonates deeply for those willing to immerse themselves.
Algol was a Norwegian black death metal band formed in 1989 and released several demos and one full length album in the 90’s. ‘Entering the Woods of Enchantment’ is one of the most obscure and hard to find Norwegian extreme metal gems from the 90’s. a true much sought after underground gems, only one available on discogs (over 150 euros). Bonus are the ‘The Priests Are Laughing’ Demo 1992 and the ‘ Witchsleep’ Demo 1993. All tracks restored and remastered by Achilleas Kalantsiz (Vio Lence, Possessed, Varathron). The booklet contains an extensive interview with guitarist / vocalist Thomas Andresen (also Fester, No). In April 1992 Algol played on a show not far from Oslo in the town of Askim. On that particular night also played Enslaved, Infinite Decay, Infernus and Emperor, who actually played their first ever gig ever. Euronymous from Mayhem had a stand selling stuff from his infamous Helvete shop there too.
In 1989 they released their debut album Impulse To Destroy on the American cult label Wild Rags. "IMPULSE TO DESTROY", was that start of uncompromised death grind. 35 years later the album is re-issued as close as possible to the original version on Wild Rags, (incl. the "recognize yourself" 7 tracks bonus EP).

Death metal band Eternal Dirge was formed in 1986 and released four demos and 2 full length albums. They played an early American style of death metal blended with Teutonic thrash, different to any other European death metal band of the time. Their second album from 1996 "Khaos Magick", showed a similar contempt for contemporary metal trends. There were no concessions to the more popular metallic sounds of that time; groove metal, melodic death metal, black metal. Eternal Dirge were a genuine band with their own sound. They made music that reflected their interests and Lovecraftian worldview. Khaos Magick is the most dark yet atmospherically album from their catalogue. Somewhere comparable to early Septic Flesh or Rotting Christ & Necromantia with the dark keyboard sounds and repetitive riffs or even Nocturnus. And of course the heavily rooted German Death and thrash metal influences
