"Thulêan Mysteries was made passively, in the sense that I never intended to make a new album; I just made music every now and then and at one point realized that I actually had enough to release it all on an album. When asked to do so I figured: why not? It was a good idea. The music is a little bit of this and a little bit of that, transcending any genre, and perhaps belonging to many different genres. The intention with it was always to create a certain atmosphere, often related to an idea or a situation. Since my true passion has never been music, but actually tabletop role-playing games, I figured I should make this an album intended for that use; as background music for my own MYFAROG (Mythic Fantasy Role-playing Game). Hopefully you will get a sense of Thulê when you listen to this, like always with Burzum, ideally when on your own. I hope you will enjoy this soundtrack to Thulê, to Mother Nature and life itself" – Varg Vikernes
4 new hymns, recorded in the same session like Sargeist's latest full length masterpiece, Unbound, showing nothing but Satanic Black Devotion.
Since their formation in 2007, MINENWERFER have pursued a proud 'n' pure vision of black metal idiosyncratically focused on World War I - idiosyncratic, in the sense that the band hail from America but mostly sing in German. What has resulted is a startlingly accomplished canon that has quietly built itself into prolific proportions, with their first album arriving in 2010, followed by albums in 2012 and 2019, and a slew of split releases and EPs in the interim.
That first album, Volkslieder, was a throttling first introduction to MINENWERFER's unique world. Grim and violent but not short on grace, Volkslieder indeed conveyed a folkish element that was by turns tragic and triumphant. And while the duo's foot was firmly on the accelera to here, it never sacrificed strong songwriting, with those icy-hot melodies searing the soul during every successive spin.
OSMOSE PRODUCTIONS have been fans of MINENWERFER for years, and is honored to unleash their once-underground back catalog on the wide scale it so deserves.

Influenced by bands such as Caladan Brood, Elderwind, Saor and Gallowbraid, Cân Bardd was founded in 2016 as a one-man project by then 18 year old Malo Civelli from Switzerland, with the purpose of creating an outlet for his feelings and ideas that would be at once heavy and aggressive, yet also melodic and atmospheric.
With the help of session drummer Dylan Watson Malo wrote, recorded and mixed his first album with over 70 minutes playing time in less than a year. The final mastering was then done by Mike Lamb from Sojourner, before Malo signed a deal with Northern Silence.
One of the most promising newcomers to appear on the scene in 2017, Cân Bardd is certain to appeal to fans of Caladan Brood, Summoning, Sojourner, Saor or Elderwind, and generally all who enjoy what is commonly known as Epic or Atmospheric and Melodic Black Metal.
