Gjendød - a new mysterious force in Norwegian underground. Hailing from Trondheim, the duo unleashes its debut demonstration on CD and tape formats through Hellthrasher Productions and Darker Than Black Records, respectively. With 20 minutes of fierce yet memorable Norse Black Metal in the classic mold, Gjendød evokes the aura of 90s legends (Mayhem, Burzum, Ulver), while giving a nod to the local (Trondheim-based) acts such as Thorns and early Manes; from ugly to beautiful, from slow to fast, from freezing to burning - always on the edges of this old Norse Black Metal style.

Krigsdøger' from 2018, is the follow-up to the debut ‘Nedstigning', and it is where Gjendød started to experiment more recording-wise, with 4-trackers and field recordings. It is a more varied album.
Krigsdøger's meaning is that you feel the war before it arrives. A feeling the band tried to capture.
