Det Personliga Helvetets Spiral

Svart is the brainchild of Shining bassist Draug and this Det Personliga Helvetets Spiral is his third album to date. It is perhaps not surprising to find Shining influences or the fact the music he plays can be characterised as depressive black metal, but that doesnt mean that Svart is totally devoid of originality. Svart plays it rather straightforward mostly, but they incorporate atmospheric synths in the background and also add some clean vocals which provide a lot of atmosphere to the music as well as some personality.
