Germany s finest one man Black Metal band, The Ruins Of Beverast, unique third full length album, Foulest Semen Of A Sheltered Elite finds Alexander von Meilenwald deriving influence from a vast and deep cauldron of sources, but still remaining fresh and blacker than Black. Slow, bombastic, heavy, bold, crashing, chants, rasps, snarls, melody, chilling, haunting, atmospheric and powerful. An 80 minute opus that very well may be insight into the future of Black Metal
- solid-black cartonstock with bronze and silver print
- fullcolopured boooklet with all lyrics and impressions1. I Raised this Stone as a Ghastly
The Ruins of Beverast's Exuvia is a dark and twisted slab of black/doom metal that calls forth ancient spirits to cleanse the Earth of its filth.
It will take you quite a while, to explore the whole album in detail.
With every listening you will find something new and this is it, what makes the album to the strongest release of the band up to now.
"The Thule Grimoires" are The Ruins Of Beverast's 6th spawn in full length and continue the sonorous wandering across anecumenical spheres that form up and embattle for the ever raging war against poisonous and verminous trespassers of human origin. The seven works evolve around discarnate, spiritful protagonists that join the brave and inexorable powers of nature against their foe. These sceneries are rooted within the familiar TROBesque experience, grim and low-bottomed monolithic tone, enriched with morbid melodic facets and surreal soundscapes.
