Transparent red 12" double vinyl (33 rpm) in deluxe gatefold printed on the rough side of the board.
Limited to 300 copies worldwide!
Originally released in 2002, ‘Í Blóði Og Anda’ (meaning 'In Blood and Spirit') is the long-lost debut album from Iceland's SOLSTAFIR.
A far cry from the refined and expressive post-rock of 2011's 'Svartir Sandar', ‘Í Blóði Og Anda’ is unique and primitive black metal (in the vein of early ENSLAVED).
The album went out-of-print almost immediately upon its release, and has been out of circulation ever since. Now remastered, repackaged, ‘Í Blóði Og Anda’ is a definitive snapshot that exposes the earliest roots of this incredible band.
For fans of ENSLAVED, BARONESS, MASTODON, AGALLOCH, LONGDISTANCECALLING, PRIMORDIAL.
"Verses Of Fire's" sound has been carefully manufactured by Andrew Guillotin in Hybreed Studios. Focusing on a more organic side thanks to the use of tube amps and natural drums, the production allows the natural old-school feeling of the band to shine through the whole album. Through ten tracks, lasting about one hour, the band explores a wide spectre of extreme metal: from raging blast beats and thrashing riffs, though haunted mid tempo vibes, and up to the point of band's primal influence - the sinister sounds of early 90's black/death metal.
Compilation album with tracks from various Eps for this good band

Dopo alcuni demo, mini e split arriva l'esordio a lunga durata per questa band americana, in puro old-style black metal. Confezione in Digipack molto curato
"Fear" is a memorable slab of dark, riff-heavy black metal. It'll please anyone who likes their black metal catchy rather than drone-y -- think Master's Hammer or Mortuary Drape, and then check this out. Recommended.

Chi non ha mai sentito parlare della città di Bergen legata al mondo black? Certo, l'attività non è più "movimentata" come quella degli anni Novanta però nascono ancora band che attingono a quel movimento e i Tortorum ne sono la prova.
