ENEPSIGOS was started in 2016 by V.I.T.H.R and Thorns, at the time to be a studio Project. Shortly after Straff joined on guitars, and they began writing and recording their debut album "Plague Of Plagues".
The album was well received in the underground, but the band itself felt they hadn`t really established what was to be ENEPSIGOS. After the album the band parted ways With Straff, which was replaced by Rituul. Immediately they started working on their sophomore album, now to manifest what ENEPSIGOS really is, and shall be. Dark, disgusting, twisted, ritualistic and violent.
With intro and interludes by Alexander Wolf and V.I.T.H.R, vocals, guitars and bass for "Wrath Of Wraths" were recorded at the Bergegarda Studios in Norway, whilst drums were recorded at the Beastcave Studios in Italy. Mixed and mastered by Tore Stjerna at the Necromorbus Studios in Sweden, and with artwork by Benjamin Vierling and additional inlay artwork by Nestor Avalos.
A crown jewel of filthy, misanthropic black 'n' roll, Blow With the Devil comprises ten anthems of utter disgust and degradation, abject hatred both internal and external. Whiskey Ritual hail from Italy, which has long maintained a thriving metalpunk scene as well as a small but well-regarded black metal one. Across the accurately titled Blow With the Devil, the quintet caustically combine these two idioms, making for a hellish 'n' headbanging ride through horror and human emotion, hailing Henry Rollins, speed & chicks, nekro street gangs, and Satanic kommandos among many other unsavory things. It's non-stop, unbridled belligerence backed up with wrist-slitting atmosphere.

Spirit Adrift refuses to slow down. With Enlightened In Eternity, Nathan Garrett, alongside drummer Marcus Bryant, has created yet another monument to the timelessness of heavy metal. And while this album builds on the sizable foundation established by previous releases, it also sets itself apart in formidable new ways, widening the scope of what Spirit Adrift can be. What this band has mastered, and where others have failed, is the ability to invoke the power of metal’s past, whether it be the ’70s, ’80s or even the ’90s, as one hears here, without ever feeling throwback or “retro”. Spirit Adrift urgently represent the sonic and emotional zeitgeist of 2020. Enlightened In Eternity carries the same enormous magnitude of the most significant metal records of every era, but Garrett has carved out his own place among the greatest of songwriters, by crafting uniquely classic and instantly recognizable songs. Vocally, Garrett again showcases an obvious evolution of his already high-level ability with more soaring soul and snarling venom injected into his classic metal form. The gorgeous guitar leads, melodies, harmonies and unforgettably heavy riffs benefit from a huge, timeless production quality. Bryant has elevated his drumming to new levels of intensity and tasteful subtlety. And as always, the tracks remain imprinted on the mind long after the album has finished. Whether it’s the ever-expanding catalog of incredible albums and songs or the searing live performances, the dominance of Spirit Adrift upon the current heavy metal landscape is now undeniable. And while Enlightened In Eternity already marks the band’s fourth album, Spirit Adrift have only just begun..

The sixth seal of Battle Dagorath' saga will indeed stand as their best album to date by many aspects, last but not least a sharp and definite production that's giving full emphasis to their majestic and epic songwriting (counting over 73 minutes of aural battle this time...)
A crushing Spectral Black Metal soundscape that unlocks a visionary journey into the third eye. Abyss Horizons represents the unraveling of your unconscious Ancient dreams, crossing the abyss into transcendental Magic realms. Traversing the boundaries of this dimension, the shadows of transformation are now awakened to restore the illumination of the Great Darkness.

Harvest is an ode to Valkenstijn's beloved Thuringian homelands. It takes us on a journey through misty woods and foggy nights, when the golden sunlight of late summer must give in to the autumnal cold that starts rising from the ground, when the warmth of summer must yield to the chilling breeze that heralds the end of the year, when the light must give in to the dark.
To complete the autumnal feast the orignal Samhain Celebration song cycle was added, which complements the early material and advance it to a full-length duration. The recordings were thoroughly reinvigorated without losing their original appeal by Valkenstijn in May MMXX at his House of Inkantation.

Five long years after their fascinating debut, Milan-based duo A Pale December deliver their sophomore album, Death Panacea. Compared to The Shrine Of Primal Fire, Death Panacea steers towards more aggressive, warring sounds. The “atmospheric black metal” label which so aptly described their debut album, is now just one of the many, partial definitions which could be used to define the band’s music.
When asked about their new opus, multi-instrumentalists Riccardo Di Bella and Ernesto Ciotola provided the following, strong statement: “While many metal albums seem to appeal to a feeling of fierceness, a call to war, an urge to fight something, we wanted to express the opposite. Death Panacea is an album about defeat and hopelessness, about the inherent futility of human strife and all our laughable attempts at masking this unescapable nature.
We wanted to praise failing and giving up, as opposed to perseverance, pride and the grinding mentality. We wanted to praise the rejects above the leaders, who naively think they can escape this race towards oblivion, and the coward above the fighting man, whose only fault was believing in the frail concept of nation and a false sense of belonging.
While distancing ourselves from these delusional sentiments, we also didn't want to fall into optimistic nihilism; the idea that the awareness of an impending void can grant any peace is simply preposterous.
Ultimately, this is the meaning that lies behind the title of the album: death is what keeps us in check and yet is the one and only panacea to all our anguishes. In all this, one could almost find a cold comfort, knowing that the top step of the podium is eventually just a springboard to the abyss”.
Opening with a fug of crypt-dwelling ambience, and the distant howls of the bloodthirsty Wampyre, building through riff and atmosphere towards a clearer skied climax in the more epic medievalism from Ages of Blood. A perfectly ascendent split with euphoric trajectory from the raw to the radiant, balanced by the pivotal Beulenpest who features in both projects.
