"This time we entered the studio with the clear intention of creating a landmark album for the band." It's a noble and challenging mission statement from Hellenic black metal troop Yoth Iria, and one that has amply succeeded in the form of Gone With The Devil, the Attica quartet's stellar third album. Their trajectory has been on a steep ascent since crafty 2021 debut As The Flame Withers and 2024's hypnotic Blazing Inferno, but there has audibly been a concerted determination to develop and expand in sinister new directions.
The daemonic avatar Yoth Iria was first explicitly summoned on Rotting Christ's legendary debut Thy Mighty Contract in 1993. Bassist/lyricist Jim Mutilator formed that band as Black Church in 1984, before also becoming a founder member of cult Athenian BM heroes Varathron for their first five years. Renewing the otherworldly atmospheres and occult ravishment for a new era, Yoth Iria functions almost as the third panel in an apocalyptic triptych of Hellenic black metal excellence.
There's a thrilling balance of ancient and modern, good and evil, harmony and dissonance, advancing Yoth Iria as a hungry contender for extreme metal's big leagues - an ever-improving unit with a glorious future. Appropriately, however, Gone With The Devil is best summed up with a line already coined by the band to describe their ongoing body of work: "Every note tells a story of rebirth, tradition, and the relentless pursuit of musical transcendence."

After a period of 6 years in the wilderness, Norway’s exponents of groove-laden black metal are back with a new album, ‘Til Endes‘. Undoubtedly the band’s strongest work to date, ‘Til Endes‘ explores the dark foreboding corners of the metal spectrum with eerie riffs, grim vocals courtesy of mysterious frontman Gard, and catchy hooks which are so often ignored in the genre.

2) Mesarthim – the enigmatic cosmic black metal phenomenon that has captured hearts and minds worldwide will perform their only live show of 2025.
3) Germ – has been silent for a long time, but Tim Yatras is a close friend and we are absolutely thrilled to announce that AM Fest will host the first Germ show since 2023 and their only exhibition of 2025!
4) Ad Nauseam – needs no introduction: the masters of technical and dissonant death metal will lead us through their intricate structures on their ONLY live appearance this year.
5) Defacement – has been steadily growing their following and upping their game, incorporating new elements in their complex and challenging offering, making death metal a very partial description. The international band will release their new album in August, and our festival will serve as the official release party.
6) Kamra – is an obscure Slovenian black metal entity that delivered one of the most interesting yet overlooked records of 2022, will walk the stage to present their brand new studio record, to be released in September.
7) Amalekim – is a young band on the rise, a Polish/Italian black metal leviathan that recently released a new album, "Shir Hashirim", and embarked on a successful EU tour. Having them on stage was a no-brainer.
8) Vrazorth – only appeared on the map in 2024, but so far the Swedish mysterious project has been able to nail a few absolutely stunning performances thanks to their mix of industrial black metal and strobe lights. A mandatory show for fans of Mysticum and deep space alike, Vrazorth's AM Fest appearance will be their first international gig.

Harvest is the fifth album from the Swedish veterans and is considered a cornerstone of modern melodic black metal. It balances the uncompromising brutality of early Scandinavian black metal with melodic death metal sensibilities, resulting in songs that are vicious yet deeply memorable. The album features the wicked vocals of Christopher Olivius and the songwriting skills of Marcus Norman, resulting in a "black romantic atmospheric" sound.

One of the UK underground's longest-running and most respected acts, HECATE ENTHRONED has been praised by the likes of Terrorizer for their "mixture of death metal aggression with black metal atmosphere" while New Noise Magazine declares them "an absolute must for fans of extreme gothic metal". Originally co-founded in Wales by guitarist Nigel Dennen in the mid-1990s, the band is dedicated to delivering their own brand of evil metal with little regard to politics or the trends of popular demand. The group's 1997 full-length, the Andy Sneap-produced 'The Slaughter Of Innocence, A Requiem For The Mighty' (Blackend Records), was a seminal release in the then-burgeoning orchestral black metal movement, and since then, five more studio outputs including their M-Theory Audio debut in 2019 with the 'Embrace Of The Godless Aeon' (HECATE ENTHRONED's first recording with vocalist Joe Stamps) and numerous live performances have firmly established the band as one of extreme metal's most important voices.

The album will be released May 29 on Digipak CD, limited-edition colored vinyl including 250 Boreal Light (EU) and 250 Draconic Vision (US) variants, and digital.  'The Corpse of a Titan, A Lament Long Buried' is once again produced by HECATE ENTHRONED and Dan Abela (Akercocke, Bleed from Within, Annal Nathrakh), who also mixed/mastered the album with cover art created by Erskine Designs (Inanimate Existence, Bleed The Sky).
