Nel Buio, Italian for In the Dark, is a black wave project born by Clod "the Ripper" De Rosa (Blasphemer, ex-Septycal Gorge) in the Autumn of 2023 to combine black metal and 80s darkwave. The Line up was completed by
Neil Grotti on guitars and Francesco Vellacifer on drums (both of Electrocution and Blasphemer's fame, among the many).
Avantgarde Music is glad to announce the release of Nel Buio self-titled debut EP. Frontman Clod the Ripper chose the following words to introduce the five songs composing the record: “In the shadow of the metropolis, where the echo of alienation seeps through the cracks in the concrete, our music is born. “Verso Casa” (Homewards) is the second Sonic Voyage of the Italian Atmospheric Black Metal sensation Taur-Im-Duinath. The band’s second chapter delves into the meaning of belonging and identity, and the absence of a rooted sense of place. The pondering of questions such as “What is home?” or “What does it mean to feel at home?” becomes the starting point of this perennial journey. The quest here manifests itself as the search, the longing for a place beyond the physical and immanent meaning, a metaphoric and spiritual locus where peace can finally be found, where all yearnings and strife are meaningless.

Always adrift in the tempestuous current of life, Taur-Im-Duinath’s shape changed and evolved with the passage of time, weaving a rich tapestry adorned with a newfound awareness, maturity and depth. Its musical landscape is a labyrinth of intertwined emotions, painted with evocative and melancholic strokes, not unlike the branches of the trees dancing in the wind, or the seas at storm, or the sullen calm of a mountain peak.

Qliphothic Supremacy is the debut HANDFUL OF HATE full length album of and became a fundamental step for italian Black Metal metal movement in time.

Finally reissued in deluxe 6page digipack via Dusktone.

Released in 1997, it’is an extreme and crazy record, a furious black of unprecedented violence who blends sharp guitars with clumsy screams, which will later be the band's trademark and mold.

Overall, an exellent, personal and overlooked piece of Italian extreme metal history and a jewel to re-discover and appreciate in its burden of evilness

Sarkom are back with a vengeance with “Exceed In2 Chaos”, their fifth opus after “Anti-Cosmic Art” released in 2016. In the meantime, they have kept themselves busy releasing several EPs containing some new tunes and a memorable rendition of the Prodigy classic “Breathe”. Anyway, 2025 marks the comeback in full form: “Exceed In2 Chaos” is a grand return to classic, razor-sharp norwegian black metal in pure Sarkom tradition. Since the artwork, Sarkom again push the boundaries of Black Art with a challenging, violent and brightly coloured design.
Musically speaking, “Exceed” displays nine tracks of cold, evil black metal enhanced by a great production and a bone-chilling vocal performance by Unsgaard. Balancing between fast splinters and panzer-like mid-tempos, the record clocks at almost 50 minutes of pure darkness!
