In conversation with figures such as Ernst Jünger, Hermann Hesse, Jean Cau, and David Engels, the album is a love letter to his continent of origin: Europe, which he chooses to rename Hesperia, as the Ancients once did.

This record celebrates the primal magic of European paganism alongside the beauty and truth of Christianity. It strives for a reconciliation between these two foundational poles of European identity — an immersion into its light, its grandeur, and its melancholy. From the anti-modern epic Waldgänger to the mystical stillness of Lux Meae, Morte France delivers a more luminous record here — one marked by hope and vital impulse, without ever renouncing the project’s original radicalism.

Liminal Sky is the new creative chapter for acclaimed producer Jaime Gomez Arellano (Ghost, Ulver, Opeth, Paradise Lost) and musician Daniel Knight, who previously played together in the band Messenger (UK). Written and recorded in isolation at Orgone Studios, their debut album All Tomorrow’s Darkness transforms grief, insomnia and the bleak stillness of the English countryside into widescreen, melancholic post-rock.

At the heart of the album is Mat McNerney (Hexvessel, Beastmilk/Grave Pleasures), whose recent loss of his mother deepened the record’s emotional honesty. Joined by a striking cast of Nordic collaborators including Kristoffer Rygg, Karin Park, Daniel O’Sullivan, Lars Horntveth, Alicia Nurho, Anders Møller, Tore Ylwizaker, Ole Alexander Halstensgård, and Matt Rozeik, each adding atmosphere without altering the album’s singular, desolate vision.

Five years has passed since the doors of perdition were opened with the release of Escumergament’s debut studio album ...ni degu fazentz escumergamënt e mesorga..., and now it is time to explore the corrupted wastelands at these entrances.

Apparebat Eidolon Senex speaks of anger, resignation and misfortune. A glimpse into the smoldering ruins of temples and oceans filled with corpses. Of haunting spirits and mad gods. Of betrayal and unfathomable loss. Seven songs where the demon appears at different places depending on time, place and intent.

Just like ...ni degu fazentz escumergamënt e mesorga..., Apparebat Eidolon Senex was recorded in the Chapel of the Wanderers on old and unpredictable equipment during days and nights of storms and torment.

Toxic Current is the new studio album by the multi-instrumentalist from Brisbane, and it comes with two covers from Australian grind and hardcore bands, Agents Of Abhorrence and The Fevered. To those familiar with Auld’s work, particularly Snorlax, these influences have always been part of his art, but never to such a clear extent. 

It’s been six long years since Sojourner released their latest album, Premonitions. Since then, a lot has happened: the band went through lineup changes, signed back to Avantgarde Music and sort of spent a good portion of these years resting, building up ideas and inspiration for what had to come next.

 Gateways is the result of such rest, a collection of seven new tracks, including “Epitaphs”, the digital-only single released in late 2024. And let’s just say that Sojourner is back at full force. The signature sound that made Mike Lamb and Emilio Crespo’s band stand out since their beginnings, over a decade ago, is still there and now taken to new heights.

 Sojourner’s dreamy, folky atmopsheres are still here, now with the powerful addition of Heike Langhan’s (ex-Draconian, Remina) beautiful vocals. At the same, Gateways doesn’t spare speed and fury, with fast up-tempos and monolithic riffs.

 As guitarist and songwriter Mike Lamb states, “Gateways is a labour of love written over the last few years of outward silence, harnessing the soul of everything we've done before while carrying the band forward toward new horizons and opening the way for what comes next.”

 Sojourner’s fourth studio album will be released via Avantgarde Music on CD and LP on July 10th, 2026, right on time to support the band’s first three live gigs after years of absence from the stage.

The German trio has amplified 15 years of experience into a record that comes with their trademark sound but is confident and mature both in songwriting and storytelling. On "Death Doom Punks", ARROGANZ are never afraid to let their influences shine through as they obviously made them their own. Driven by a heavy pumping bass and relentlessly whipped drum skins, the trio stacks massive riffs on top of each other and finishes any remaining resistance off with a barrage of deep-throated growls. Whatever ARROGANZ are doing, it always comes out at 100% while never forgetting the original roots in old school death metal. The trio's unwillingness to compromise has been hailed by many and earned them the hate of others - about which they do not give the slightest… as authenticity and honesty in every aspect are their key traits.
