Los Angeles trio Faetooth sophomore album Labyrinthine is a deeply felt exploration of emotional weight: grief, memory, uncertainty, and the quiet work of growing around your own wounds.
Following the band’s 2022 debut Remnants Of The Vessel, which introduced the band’s signature blend of heaviness and mysticism, Labyrinthine pushes further inward. True to its name, the album winds through a maze of feeling and form, where meaning is never handed over easily. It’s rooted in self-discovery through disorientation, the idea that understanding comes not from escape, but from getting lost.

*Chasm of Immurement, the Debut Full-Length from Clairvoyance, features six tracks of extremely rotten gut-wrenching Death / Doom Metal! Poland’s Clairvoyance was forged in late 2019 by vocalist Maciej Cesarczyk and guitarist Denis Didenko. Taking inspiration mostly from Finnish and American bands from the ‘90s, the duo eventually locked into a classic Death Metal sound, then rounded out their lineup by recruiting drummer Adrian Szczepański and bassist Jasiek Kraciuk. The quartet quickly conjured a three-song demo in May of 2020, which was received positively both locally and internationally, seeing a Cassette release through Caligari Records, while Behind The Mountain released the 7” vinyl edition. For the next two years Clairvoyance would gain notability within Warsaw’s Death Metal Underground, especially after the release of their Threshold Of Nothingness EP (Blood Harvest - 2022). Clairvoyance returned to the studio again in the Summer of 2024 to record their long overdue debut LP, “Chasm Of Immurement”. By upping the intensity and the aggressiveness of their sound, the band hopes to start a new chapter in their journey and to show their listeners what Clairvoyance was truly meant to be. “Chasm Of Immurement” was Recorded and Engineered by Clairvoyance guitarist Kacper Pawluk, Mixed by Pawluk and Piotrek Polak, and Mastered by Polak. Cover Artwork by Paolo Girardi (Bell Witch, Chthe’ilist, Noroth).
Pythagoras, the new Pyramids album nine years in the making, is set for release in 2025 via avant-tastemakers The Flenser. Yet another daring study in genre synthesis, the band continues to push boundaries in both sound and aesthetic, blending jagged fragments of black metal and shoegaze as they have done since their influential 2008 Hydra Head Records debut, only this time adding the unconventional layers of reggaeton and neoperreo to both voice and rhythm. Named after the ancient Greek philosopher, Pythagoras represents the band’s ongoing commitment to innovation, and the perpetual juxtaposition of the delicate and the devastating, embracing complex musical structures and rhythms that both challenge and captivate the listener. At the heart of the album lies an intricate balance between aggressive blast beats and the syncopated pulse of reggaeton’s signature dembow rhythm—a concept born from founder Rich Loren Balling’s own immersion in both extreme music and pop genres.

! The follow up to minimalist black metal weirdos BOSSE-DE-NAGE’s self titled debut. This album was recorded in 2010 by JUSTIN WEIS and features a HUGE sound along with the Lousiville-styled post rock (think Slint not Godspeed) and black metal weirdness that made Bosse-de-Nage’s debut a divisive genre defying classic. This is black metal, but black metal tinged with 20th century minimalism and outlandish vocals.
• Debut release from the long running and influential blackgaze project from the San Francisco Bay Area
• Highly anticipated new album from rising Los Angeles collective
• For fans of emotionally intense and genre-expansive metal like Deafheaven, Alcest, Liturgy, Lingua Ignota, Have a Nice Life, Swans

Here, in the blood’s inferno…
in the bitterness of each cell…
in the shudder of your nerves…
QRIXKUOR surface once more to bring the crepuscular whispers of 2021’s Poison Palinopsia LP and 2022’s Zoetrope EP to a roaring, terrifying and triumphant crowning crescendo with their 2nd full-length album, entitled The Womb of the World, to be released on Friday 7th November by Invictus Productions in Europe and Dark Descent Records in the USA.
Once again recorded, mixed and mastered on familiar ground at Priory Recording Studios in Birmingham, England by Greg Chandler (ESOTERIC) and emblazoned with a much-expanded outer and inner gatefold piece by Zoetrope artist-extraordinaire Santiago Caruso (as well as additional insert art contributed by Nuno Zuki), The Womb of the World further defies the dogmas of death and black metal by dragging them deeper still into the depths of textural and timbral delirium, more so than its predecessors even dared fathom, augmented throughout its 4 chapters by the sinistrous siren song of The Orchestra of the Silent Stars. The venomous tongues of guest-contributor slithering serendipity herself Jaded fucking Lungs (ADORIOR) maniacally guide And You Shall Know Perdition As Your Shrine into the album’s eponymous climax, a tumultuous ending in fire certain to be the apotheosis of QRIXKUOR’s vision to date.
The Womb of the World is the echo of time tearing itself apart, a dauntless deliverance of dissolution. Perhaps now the seas can be still at last…
