"Aftermath" is the debut album of Skyforest, the Russian solo-project which rose from the ashes of Annorkoth. Originally released in 2014, it is now for the first time ever available on vinyl.

The first three tracks are reworked/revised versions of the tracks of the demo from 2006. The 4th song is a never-recorded song from the 2006 session. The last song is an acoustic song created in the Herbstpfad times between 2011 and 2012, but was totally arranged 2019.

Dämmerfarben's sophomore album continues the same poetic, nature-inspired and at times melancholic Folk/Black Metal style the
band is known for from their well acclaimed debut "Im Abendrot", but introduces three new band members: Emma Björling (female
vocals), also known from Kongero and Lyy, Magnus Holmström (Nyckelharpa, Kontrabasharpa), known from performances with his
band Storis & Limpan Band and his solo-concerts, and Martin Wiese (Accordion, Percussion, Keyboards), mastermind behind Enid.

Faidra is a Swedish Atmospheric/Orthodox Black Metal solo project that formed during late summer of 2019. The music is primarily inspired by Scandinavian Black Metal of the early 90s, with Burzum being perhaps the most prominent influence. The man behind Faidra has played in various bands of different genres since the late 90's, and for Faidra chose to keep his identity undisclosed in order to let the music speak for itself.

The solo-project Forlorn Citadel plays Epic Black Metal in the vein of Summoning. This is done so remarkably well that at times fans might find it quite hard to differentiate between these two bands. Nonetheless there are enough own elements in the music to distinguish Forlorn Citadel from the inventors of Epic Black Metal.

So despite the considerable number of bands playing this style that appeared on the scene in the years following Caladan Brood's immensely successful debut album, Forlorn Citadel is another very welcome addition and we highly recommend "Ashen Dirge of Kingslain" to all fans of Summoning, Caladan Brood, Emyn Muil and similar projects!

The album is a collection of songs written late-2018 to mid-2019 and is dedicated to all warriors who fight their battles, only to return home to a kingdom that is not as it was.

The artist’s continued growth into a powerful, life-affirming creator is also reflected metaphorically in all of Skyforest’s artworks after the debut, and culminates in the wonderful paintings which adorn the new album, again masterfully captured on canvas by Sergey Shenderovsky.

Belore is an Epic Black Metal solo project influenced by heroic fantasy and medieval worlds.

Belore's debut album is a journey into forgotten lands, where each title tells a story - a world where landscapes, magic and medieval history exist side by side. Directed by Aleevok, this album aims to transport listeners to an unknown world where they can let themselves be carried away by their imagination.

The Russian solo-project Dolorangst, founded in 2019, plays truly outstanding Atmospheric Black Metal with Post Rock influences, recommended for fans of earlier Tiamat or Katatonia albums, as well as Austere, Woods of Desolation or Thy Light in their quieter moments.
The CD is released as part of the Northern Silence Underground Series and includes the four songs that were previously self-released digitally, which received excellent feedback from fans worldwide, as well as an unreleased demo song as bonus track.
It comes as Collector’s Edition in 6-panel digipack incl. English translations of the Russian lyrics, limited to 500 copies.

Etoile Filante play Cosmic Black Metal. Founded in 2013, "Magnum Opus Caelestis" is the band's debut full length, written and recorded a few years after their first EP "Traité sur le Monde et la Lumière" in 2014. It comes highly recommended for fans of the Cosmic Black Metal sub genre and bands such as Midnight Odyssey, Mesarthim or Mare Cognitum.

Influenced by bands such as Caladan Brood, Elderwind, Saor and Gallowbraid, Cân Bardd was founded in 2016 as a one-man project by then 18 year old Malo Civelli from Switzerland, with the purpose of creating an outlet for his feelings and ideas that would be at once heavy and aggressive, yet also melodic and atmospheric.

With the help of session drummer Dylan Watson Malo wrote, recorded and mixed his first album with over 70 minutes playing time in less than a year. The final mastering was then done by Mike Lamb from Sojourner, before Malo signed a deal with Northern Silence. 

One of the most promising newcomers to appear on the scene in 2017, Cân Bardd is certain to appeal to fans of Caladan Brood, Summoning, Sojourner, Saor or Elderwind, and generally all who enjoy what is commonly known as Epic or Atmospheric and Melodic Black Metal. 

Antigone's Fate is the solo project of multi instrumentalist Ruun from Germany. Founded in 2015 as a side-project and eventually turned into a long-term outlet for his creativity, Antigone’s Fate stands for melancholic, sometimes even mournful Atmospheric Black Metal that is rich in variety both in terms of musical expression as well as emotions it evokes. The fateful journey that began on the well acclaimed 2018 debut album "Insomnia", and gained momentum on the second full length "Zum Horizont..." (“To the Horizon…”), is now drawing to a close on Ruun’s third album “Fragmente” (“Fragments”) - once again an epic and captivating work.

Arctos is the voice of the mountains, the call of the rising wild. 

Inspired by the Godless wastelands of Northern Alberta as well as the jagged monoliths of the Canadian Rockies, Arctos brings together a unique blend of sounds to craft a form of Black Metal rife with atmosphere and melody. Formed in 2014 by a group of veteran musicians, Arctos is well steeped in musical tradition. 

Three years after "Kornog", an album dealing with the water element of Breton's sea legends, "Argoat", which means something like "land of the woods", continues where its predecessor left off and focuses on the earth element - mainly local mystic forests, wild animals and Celtic gods. It is again sung in Breton. "Arvestal" is a metal interpretation of a John Barry song (The Persuaders - 1971).

"Forvist" once again showcases Ynleborgaz' uncanny ability to create epic, raw and powerful Black Metal hymns that seem to draw their boundless strength from the cold darkness and eternal solitude of the frozen north. The lyrics continue the epic story of Arngrim, a medieval Scandinavian warrior.

With the debut "Nature Stays Silent" Cân Bardd already enthralled a lot of fans in the Atmospheric Black Metal community. "The Last Rain", Cân Bardd's second album, continues where the debut left off, and yet turned into a huge step forward from the already very good material of its predecessor. Improved songwriting as well as an excellent production this time around solidify Cân Bardd's ambition to stand proudly in the Atmospheric Black Metal olymp alongside bands like Caladan Brood, Summoning, Sojourner, Elderwind, Eldamar or Pure Wrath.

Emily Highfield's one woman project Suldusk has woven the acoustic tones of Dark/Neo Folk with elements of Post Rock and Atmospheric Black Metal to create a powerful panorama of shimmering guitars, haunting melodies and atmospheric density on her debut album "Lunar Falls". The album's undercurrent theme is about living on the margins, and the intolerable suffering and sacrifice in the quest for identity. Nature provides much of the lyrical inspiration as the source of refuge and guidance throughout this quest. It is dedicated to the memory of Aleah Starbridge. "The Elm" is an adaptation of Aleah's and Juha Raivio's song "Sinking Ships". Recommended for fans of Trees of Eternity, Agalloch or Myrkur.

Erebos was formed as an Atmospheric Black Metal and Ambient solo project by Dariusz Łukasik from Poland at the beginning of 2017. Major inspiration for starting Erebos came from J.R.R. Tolkien's works.
