"Sein / Zeit" is a conceptual split which takes inspiration from the work of Martin Heidegger, more specifically from the 1927 book "Sein & Zeit" ("Being and Time"). This seminal philosophical text, which attempts to get to grips with the meaning of being, provides the basis for an exploration of fundamental questions that underpin our understanding of human existence, with each band taking one of the two main themes.

In May 2009 Amestigon finished the production of - Sun of all Suns - which was the first full length album in the history of these Austrian Black Metal veterans. The album was originally published on CD by Hauruck Records in spring 2010 and re-released by W.T.C.Productions in 2016 (vinyl version) and 2018 (CD version).
With their second album, Peccata Mortalia, ENTARTUNG exhale a crypt-stench stronger than death. Indeed, Peccata Mortalia displays the duo in an even stronger (black)light, the songwriting both more assured and distinctive and the execution more vile and grim. Shadow-draped yet melodic, despite the band's Teutonic origins, ENTARTUNG forego the mystical/medieval vibe of their country's usual black metal style and, in fact, slot well alongside Finland's filthy and emotive idiom of the past decade.

Horna's ninth full length album. The Band's previous full length album "Askel lähempänä Saatanaa" was something of a throwback to mid '90s black metal classicism. By contrast, Hengen Tulet carries forward a similar songwriting aesthetic - surging 'n' swooshing speed, spiraling melody both majestic and malevolent - but reinvigorates a foul, fetid primitivism. It's still a supremely varied yet focused spin, compact (and caustic) as ever, but the headbanging, hard-charging tropes are surely a sign of HORNA's well-oiled machinery lately on the live front, where Spellgoth has cultivated no small amount of infamy for his penetrating performances.
