Elegies of the Stellar Wind" marks the 5th full-length for Poland's epic one-man Black Metal outfit Evilfeast. On the successor to 2011`s lauded, 'Wintermoon Enchantment,' sole member GrimSpirit hasn`t changed much on the band`s majestic formula. Sprawling, epic keyboard arrangements paired with cold and harsh walls of guitars and dedicated vocals whispering of old times and solitarity. Unfolding its layers track by track, the album unlocks a dripping atmosphere. At times freezing in solitude, at others resolute melodic with choral pillars. Enhanced like never before, these elegies reach an almost monumental peak.

AFSKY's second album "Ofte Jeg drømmer mig død" is a journey through the cultural history of Denmark, focusing on poems and lyrics by well-known and lesser-known Danish writers such as H.C. Andersen, Emil Aarestrup and others - reflections on the eternal misery in the age of industrialization, when people were considered "human material", trapped in everyday life and forced to work hard for the upper class until death.

To express this, a mixture of icy, nordic black metal with folk and doom elements is conjured up by Afsky, crowned by the melancholic and emotional interpretation and performance.

On "Ofte Jeg Drømmer Mig Død" AFSKY have managed to combine timeless poetry of the 19th century with their own timeless music - which draws attention to the injustices in today's world and even shows frightening parallels.

"Key to a Vanishing Future" is an intended departure from the sounds explored throughout the band's back catalog, while still retaining characteristics inherent to Falls of Rauros. Never content to make the same album twice, the group has once again invited new influences into their aesthetic, this time including more explicit nods to death metal and prog rock while still drilling deeper into the black metal and North American folk-rock that makes up their core sound. This is once again their heaviest album to date, as well as their most technically demanding. The album was recorded by the band themselves in their rehearsal space in late 2020/early 2021, befitting of the natural and organic sound pursued for the album, while mixing and mastering duties were handled by Colin Marston. On their third full-length album, "Es grauet", Ungfell abducts listeners on a sonic journey detailing moral ambivalence and treachery. Set in a seemingly idyllic rural village in pre-modern times, all is not as it seems. Tragedy strikes the town in the form of a horrific, grisly murder. Unfounded accusations lead the town further astray, while these occurences of debauchery exceed the comprehension of the local inhabitants. Alas, evil lurks where you may least expect it... The story unfolds, accompanied by ravaging riffs and gripping songwriting that appropriately underline the complex, yet harrowing narrative. "Es grauet" shows Ungfell at their most ambitious and most audacious, featuring incredibly dynamic and warm production values, emphasizing atmosphere even more than previous releases and managing to compliment the story being told.

The second chapter of the band's tetralogy examining the malign episodes of this past century.

'Render Unto Eden' is an altogether more somber record: here do Panzerfaust more fully work with light and shade, their darkness displaying far more hues than previously deemed imaginable. Whereas the five-song first chapter was taut 'n' terrorizing, The Suns of Perdition II likewise features five songs but in a more expansive 44-minute runtime. As such, massive vistas of molten melancholy unfold, the inexorable push-and-pull patient but persistent; layers upon layers of understanding are packed into each of these scintillating minutes. The violence is more carefully doled out, in kind, and the sum effect is nothing short of hypnotic. The Suns of Perdition II: Render Unto Eden echoes within the mind and spirit long after the record's over...

Produced and mixed by Greg Dawson at BWC Studios in Kingston, Ontario, Canada, the album was mastered by Sergei Lazar at CDM Records Studio in Moscow, Russia.

The track "Promethean Fire" features guest vocals from Maria Arkhipova of Russia's Arkona.

They Came From Visions from the Ukrainian capital Kyiv was formed in 2019 in order to create raw and twisted music that conjures the visions of shimmering mist over ancient swamps, of moonlight painting the earth in surreal colours, of unsettling hum and chitter of nocturnal insects, of countless dangers and wonders of a world shrouded in darkness. The three nameless individuals behind the group draw inspiration from bands such as Wiegedood and Yellow Eyes as well es from folk-horror-movies and -games – from the classics released in the 70s and also from modern favorites such as „The Witch“ and „Midsommar“.

„The Twilight Robes" continues that theme while raw and varied riffs, spanning the range from mournful to triumphant, weave a bleak tapestry of struggle, danger, mystery, and violence. The record is dedicated to exploring various facets of the commonfolk's struggle and suffering in dangerous and mysterious times: Human-sacrifice-rituals, nocturnal horrors, powerlessness, and surrender in the face of overwhelming natural and supernatural forces belong to the lyrical themes explored here. Rather than leaning on any particular culture's specific folklore, the band references humanity's shared feeling of weakness and fear before the unknown. „The Twilight Robes“ is a testament to the band's dedication to their craft and their desire to tell stories that speak to the human experience.

The recording process was a unique yet frightening experience for the band, as it took place during the Russian invasion of Ukraine.Therefore, the band members imbued their feelings of fear, frustration, and anger into the music to cope with the absurd horror of the situation. The album was fully self-produced by the band to preserve the integrity of the composer's vision, and all instruments were recorded at home - with the exception of the vocals, which were recorded at a rehearsal studio. The album was mixed by the guitarist who plays under the pseudonym Voice of Gloom and mastered by bassist Voice of the Deep. The artwork was created by Ukrainian artist Mykhailo Skop (also known as Neivanmade).

"So fallen alle Tempel" ("All temples fall") extinguishes all shallowness and grasps you by your soul, carrying you into an atmospheric maelstrom. Swiss AARA is a new star on the Black Metal firmament, combining atmospheric Black Metal with classical melodies to a grand and epic experience.
