Windfaerer's Breaths of Elder Dawns is the black/folk metal quintet's latest and most elaborate output in its more than a decade of existence. As the band from New Jersey puts it, “Breaths of Elder Dawns explores themes of hope, kinship, destruction of the natural world, shattered illusions and longing for the numbing comfort of death. It is a journey of mourning through the ruins of abandonded dreams and aspirations. This record is an homage to a romantaicized past as much as it is a rejection of its glorification.
As with previous Windfaerer releases this record was a collaborative effort. Each member brought their own influences, perspectives and compositions and forged them into the spirit of the band. Extensive attention to detail was paid to all of the sonic elements—from the mic placements to the string orchestrations—in an effort to create a towering and expansive sound. Sorrow-laden melodies spiral through rugged, mountainous song structures in a synthesis of vulnerability and power. Breaths of Elder Dawns is a journey through aesthetic desolation and saudade. Here, the light of the sun exposes the anguished disfigurement of the soul”.

Two years after their acclaimed Thrall of Winter's Majesty, international black metal duo Ringarë is about to release their new studio effort, Of Momentous Endless Night.
Born from the unity of purpose of two prolific musicians, American Alex “Esoterica” Poole (Skáphe, Chaos Moon, Nattfärd, Ars Hmu and many others) and Swedish Likpredikaren (Nattfärd, Ars Hmu, Demonomantic and more), Ringarë has grown a dedicated cult following over the years.
In their own words, the two artists describe “Of Momentous Endless Night as an album which carries forth the chaos that was born with Sorrow Befell (Iron Bonehead, 2020). Although a darker and more aggressive companion to the predecessor demo, this full-length takes it's own unique path, treading where the band has not gone before with 4 tracks of hateful, sorrowful black metal. Past battles, nefarious rituals, and Satanic summonings fuel the triumphs to behold within this sinister saga. The stories told are not of this plane; nor can they be considered past, present, or in the future. Each listen pulls them closer to this desolate world. Join us!”
Drawing inspiration from the early classics of ...And Oceans, Dimmu Borgir, Katatonia, Vordven, Bishop of Hexen, and Enslaved, amongst many others, Ringarë’s Of Momentous Endless Night will be released on CD, LP and digital via Avantgarde Music on December 15th, 2023.

The Impending Fall Of The Stars is intended to be the evolutionary continuity of Monolith Of Light, Inherits The Void’s debut album released in 2021.
Despite this continuity, however, the album tends to be more melodic, leaning towards the black metal scene of the ‘90s, particularly the Swedish one (Sacramentum, Dawn, Vinterland) while still infusing modern influences from bands such as Regarde Les Hommes Tomber and even elements taken from the first wave of melodic death metal (early Ablaze My Sorrows, Eucharist, Gates Of Ishtar and the likes).
“The Impending Fall Of The Stars was composed as a faithful mirror of my initial and all-time musical tastes and influences. The involvement of session members - with their own feelings and sensibilities - proved rewarding and made it possible to reach the final rendering as it is proposed”, said Inherits The Void composer and mastermind Antoine Scholtès.
“The nine songs revolve around people migrations from very ancient ages to current times, considering the hopes, the dangers, and the loneliness from all of them during their wandering. All these emotions have permeated the composition of the songs in order to obtain music in which rage, chaos, melancholy, sadness and hopes are mixed together”.
