Switzerland's practitioners of alchemical madness return with their sophomore full-length, "Blut, Milch und Thränen", presenting a concoction of truly mesmerizing sonic movements.
The music contained on "Blut, Milch und Thränen" was recorded somewhat unconventionally as two separate tracks, which were subdivided into several movements to correspond with the album's gripping narrative. With regard to this narrative, Kvelgeyst recounts the tale of an alchemist, beset by visions that leads him to search for an adept who in turn shall serve as the victim in a sinister ritual, hoping to achieve unio mystica. Initially, he is pleased, as he discovers an adept soon enough in the gutters. Regrettably for him, however, he is finally confronted with the realization that he has fatally misinterpreted his visions, and it is not he who sacrifices the adept in his pursuit of revelation, but rather he must serve as the sacrificial lamb in ritual slaughter, thus enabling the adept to achieve unio mystica. This, in turn, drives the adept into utter madness, rendering him free of all his senses and forcing him to the gutters from whence he emerged.

Originally released in 2008, Lost Horizons of Wisdom is a hauntingly mystical black metal album, with just the right dose of ambiance mixed into the sonic journey. The album's evocative nature is matched by its flawless lo-fi production of ghostly guitars, ethereal synths, and classic 90`s aesthetics to create a truly atmospheric black metal record.

The rituals on "Ritual Music For The True Clochard" were previously released under different formats in close cooperation with various bands and labels. Thanks to Herr Deportator for his insane efforts to mix and master them very thoroughly the Urfaust way and compile them to a homogene full length.

SULPHUR AEON's “seven crowns and seven seals” is the manifest and at least for now, possibly the peak of a band obsessively creative, passionately and willingly challenging itself to produce music as timeless and original as H.P. Lovecraft's literary legacy. Cast yourself into the darkened waters and be swallowed by the ocean's tide...
ROBUST performs intoxicating Black Metal with pure Will, passion and Dedication. This album might possibly be the record you never knew you needed, an album so unpredictable and maddening that you don’t know wether you just heard the most beautiful piece of art, or an atrocity of dimensions unknown. In an age where everything's ‘perfect’; where production and musicianship has reached levels unheard of due to modern technology, providing platforms for even the most average musician to excel, this album is a breath of fresh air in an otherwise soulless scene.
ROBUST delivers a raw and harsh, yet elegant and masterfully composed album, with indescribable twists and turns. Without too much explanation, I would recommend this to fans of SVEST , AKITSA and the three first GORGOROTH albums. That pretty much sums it up.
After a couple of silent years, MORAST are back with their third album called “FENTANYL”. Carried by grief, loss and the abyss of emotional pain, they have managed to turn this energy into a celebrating resurrection. Their urge to create a dark and sinister atmosphere is still inherent, but this time their approach seems more aggressive, ecstatic and raw. A six song trip to the bleakest corners of human existence. A monolith of abhorrence and filth.
