Created in 2014, Cantique Lépreux feeds on Black Metal from all eras, reveling in its essence. Inspired by the wilderness of Québec, the Occult, death, and fear, Cantique Lépreux creates music that is at times grim, at other times melancholic; a work born of passion, paying homage to the legends of Black Metal.
Hailing from a scene that seems to endure as an archaic artefact of a genre that was extensively shaped by the early Scandinavian scene, Cantique Lépreux makes its public debut with 'Cendres Célestes'. While treading familiar ground, they unearth and truly encapsulate everything about their vision and are proof that there could not be a more suitable place than Québec to shape such glacier-cold and mournful hymns.
Rising out of ashes of Prosthetic Records' traditional heavy metal quintet Spellcaster like a new wave phoenix, IDLE HANDS is bound to catch the attention of anyone who loves NWOBHM, occult rock or the sleaze of the 80s. Featuring five dark, moody and ballad-esque tracks, Don't Waste Your Time was recorded by Gabe Johnston (Spellcaster) and mastered by the illustrious Brad Boatright (Corrosion of Conformity, Yob).
Formed in the heart of the Pacific Northwest in the fall of 2017, IDLE HANDS initially began solely as a creative outlet for former Spellcaster bassist Gabriel Franco, who now handles vocals and rhythm guitar in addition to being the band's sole songwriter. With the first EP under their belt, the band plans to release a full-length and tour heavily in 2019.
Ristampa 2018
Originally released in 2004, Mysteries of the Nocturnal Forest is a sarcophagi of despair as the album’s nine tracks account for a hour’s worth of raw misanthropic misery. Hauntingly primal, the album’s evocative nature is matched by its flawless lo-fi production of ghostly guitars and ethereal synths. Evilfeast’s lone multi-instrumentalist, GrimSpirit, begins his prolific body of work with a wintry dissonance. With over two decades of depraved black metal under his belt, it is easy to see why Evilfeast belongs alongside Burzum, Paysage d'Hiver and Midnight Odyssey.
Inspired by the frost-bitten regions of Québec, the title of Cantique Lépreux’s second full-length directly translates to “polar landscapes,” exploring a recurring theme of the icy wilderness which makes up the majority of the band’s homeland.
Musically, Paysages polaires continues the nostalgic path laid out with the frosty, archaic tunes from the band’s debut album as the record carves itself into another 45-minutes of darkness, misery and gloom. Cold black metal for the ages, Paysages polaires’ stirring anthems – with a sharper and more direct songwriting approach – lead the way throughout the sophomore album’s seven hypothermic tracks.
Based on fast and atmospheric black metal, Paysages polaires balances between beautiful and harsh dirges in combination with the conceptual middle trifold of songs based around the North American winter. The passionate Québécois carry a secret fire of stellar splendor as Cantique Lépreux reveals a wild black metal monument set in ice and stone. "

After two well received demos, Dutch black metal trio FLUISTERAARS make their official debut statement. "Dromers" comprises three epic-length tracks that take the listener on a winding, windswept journey through the catacombs of ancient black metal mysticism. Like the fading rays of the sun during the change of seasons, as autumnal splendor gives way to wintry majesty, FLUISTERAARS' Dromers conjures visions both familiar and foreign, both immediate and distant. Their vision of black metal is a highly personal and deeply emotive one, at times recalling early Primordial and Agalloch as well as Autumn Aurora-era Drudkh,.

Euprosopon aims to evoke heroic medieval symbolism, while taking musical cues mainly from Norwegian classics such as Enslaved’s “Eld”, the “Dark Sorcery EP” by Aeternus and “…Again Shall Be” by Hades, to enrich it’s already established style and sound. Supported by the session drums and production assistance of M. Koops of Fluisteraars, Euprosopon surely will be seen as a definite leap in an attempt to chart a path of noble and austere black metal art.

From its birth in 2015, the focus of the project has been on the spiritual connection between nature and the will of the old Gods – channelled through various representations of life, death and rebirth, this connection speaks through these musical creations, resonating as wordless tributes to these nebulous yet fundamental concepts.
'Uthuling Hyl' is both the story of unheralded songs amongst the shadows of existence and a soundtrack to a journey across unknown realms ruled by ancient Gods. Join this journey and embrace the ritualistic ambience of pagan worship.
Limited embossed Digipak CD edition.
"Werian" is an old Germanic expression for the act of man transforming into a werwolf by wearing wolfskins and practicing shamanistic rituals under the use of psychedelic medication.
Conceived and formed by musicians with different musical backgrounds during 2009, Werian intends to create something unexpected without musical limitations. Their fusion of raw Black and Doom Metal combined with elements of Rock and psychedelic embellishments gave birth to their own style of music, described by the band as 'Experimental.Black.Doom.Art'.
'Lunar Cult Society' is a re-issue of the two sold out demonstration archivements from Werian. Inviting the listener once more to step into the wolfcult and the realm of obscure rites. Haunting alchemy paired with grotesque and inductive sonication. Transformation doctrines, you shall awake and follow the call of blood...
"Werian" DEMO I (2011)
"Among Humans" DEMO II (2014)
"Werian ALIVE" Bonustrack
Recorded live at Nekrowerk Club, Nordhausen, Germany, during March 18th, 2017.
Out of a long black veil, and a 9-year hiatus, Thuringian black metal lunatics, 'Infaust,' return properly equipped with their 3rd album.
These seven black manifests of raw misanthropic energy and cold will seem to bleed seamlessly bleak from the audio cabinet.
While firing off waves of raw & oppressive tunes, they create a vortex of death, decline and somber reflections on life. Manipulating and psychologically death-adoring lyrics wrapped in a stream of atmospheric rushing guitars, deep-roaring bass, and double vocal desperation.
