Eleven years after their last album, the Turin-based ADVERSAM, a historical staple of the Italian Black Metal scene, return with "Daimon".

Best known for their acclaimed 1999 debut "Animadverte" (Scarlet Records), ADVERSAM's force is all but spent: with "Daimon", the band confirms its ability to evolve a style rooted in classic Black Metal while constantly regenerating through modern and original insights.

The resulting sound is often suggestive in its expression, yet consistently fierce and visceral. Rhythmic speed remains the cornerstone of ADVERSAM's style, expertly balanced by atmospheric, gloomy synths and elevated by a meticulous technical attention to details.

Thematically, the lyrics of "Daimon" — inspired by the reflections of C.G. Jung and the intuitions of G. Rol — delve into the meaning of existence and the dark nature of humanity. The album questions the essence of evil and explores the vast potential of the mind and consciousness.

It’s been six long years since Sojourner released their latest album, Premonitions. Since then, a lot has happened: the band went through lineup changes, signed back to Avantgarde Music and sort of spent a good portion of these years resting, building up ideas and inspiration for what had to come next.

 Gateways is the result of such rest, a collection of seven new tracks, including “Epitaphs”, the digital-only single released in late 2024. And let’s just say that Sojourner is back at full force. The signature sound that made Mike Lamb and Emilio Crespo’s band stand out since their beginnings, over a decade ago, is still there and now taken to new heights.

 Sojourner’s dreamy, folky atmopsheres are still here, now with the powerful addition of Heike Langhan’s (ex-Draconian, Remina) beautiful vocals. At the same, Gateways doesn’t spare speed and fury, with fast up-tempos and monolithic riffs.

 As guitarist and songwriter Mike Lamb states, “Gateways is a labour of love written over the last few years of outward silence, harnessing the soul of everything we've done before while carrying the band forward toward new horizons and opening the way for what comes next.”

 Sojourner’s fourth studio album will be released via Avantgarde Music on CD and LP on July 10th, 2026, right on time to support the band’s first three live gigs after years of absence from the stage.

Formed in Stockholm in 2016, Flykt emerged as an essential creative outlet for those involved and as a sign of defiance amid decay,
operating from the periphery rather than the center.
In 2019, the band released its debut full-length album, “Charnel Heart”, through Folter Records. Later the same year, Flykt followed up with
the two-track EP “Through the Earth and Through the Sun”. Since then, Flykt has continued its work away from view, shaping the material
for its second full-length album.
In 2025, the band signed with Hammerheart Records. Their second full length album “Sinister Strain” is set for release in the summer of 2026.

"Gloom" is the debut full-length album by the American band Macabre, released in 1989. The album has earned the status of one of the most important and original releases of the death/grind scene.

“Gloom” lasts only 25 minutes in its standard version and is characterized by extraordinary intensity and a raw sound, as well as very fast tempos, aggressive, thrash metal riffs, and "dirty," punk-influenced vocals (the band was heavily inspired by the early hardcore scene).

The lyrics describe real-life crimes and serial killers but often with a dose of dark specific sense of humour, which has become a trademark of Macabre's work over the years.

Mortem was originally known as the Norwegian cult band which preceded Arcturus. Formed by Marius Vold and Steinar Sverd Johnsen in 1989, Mortem was one of the first black metal bands to crawl out of the woodwork in Norway, releasing the highly coveted & brutal 'Slow Death' demo, with Euronymous and Dead of Mayhem acting as producer and cover artist respectively (whilst also featuring Hellhammer on session drums). After the release of 'Slow Death', the band was laid to rest, with members going on to form and feature in acclaimed titans such as Arcturus and Thorns, both of which would become mainstays in the black metal scene and beyond.

It wasn’t until 2019, when Mortem’s studio debut 'Ravnsvart' was released, and the magic of old undoubtedly returned with that same spirit and brutality of the original incarnation, whilst injecting new elements to form an opus of ferocious yet atmospheric horror. This was followed soon after by the fully re-recorded and re-worked ‘Slow Death’ tracks.

And now Mortem returns with new ode to the dark, ‘Mørketid’. The album presents an expansion and marked progression over the debut, with brooding mid-paced monumental riffs interspersed with periods of hyperspeed black metal. The album presents eight tracks of savage yet eerie and also often epic Black Metal of the highest order, adorned with the indomitable keyboard textures of Sverd, along with Hellhammer’s unmistakable percussive prowess, and the returning vicious snarls of vocalist Marius Vold.
