Back in stock - musica Black Metal e Dark estrema
The music within this album holds so much of what has come to define us as a band, until now chiefly showcased in its live incarnation, ranging from the rabid, unruly primitivism of our early days to the ominous, slightly surreal atmospheres we began to explore later on. There is material here as old as ten years and even more, as well as what would be considered brand new (by us, anyway, Trondheim time applies). "Worlds open, and worlds, they truly collide!"
"The Fire Cult Beyond Eternity" is the new album from ONIRIK (Portugal), a follow-up to 2015's "Casket Dream Veneration" and yet another proof of the talent of Gonius Rex, the band's sole member. ONIRIK has been active since 2002 and throughout the years has explored black metal in several approaches, always faithful to its original purpose: the emission of unordinary, dissonant and raw outputs with trance-inducing atmospheres, typically very cold and bathed in magic.
With the special guest participation of none other than Dirge Rep on drums (GEHENNA, ENSLAVED, ORCUSTUS, THE KONSORTIUM), and mixed & mastered by Semjaza of THY DARKENED SHADE, "The Fire Cult Beyond Eternity" is the consequence of the descent and return from below carrying the flames and lava on its scales, giving it back to the world in posthumous vengeance.
Emerging from the un-silent crypt, after over a year of strife and plague, Oppressive Descent unleashes the new full length LP, “Spite Is My Scepter, Blood Is My Crown”. Eight new hymns of grim hostility, longing for the cold reaches of eternity and the grisly battles of the past. This new offering encapsulates all the hallmarks of previous Oppressive Descent releases, while building on the grandeur and desolation that Grond Nefarious has invoked through the years. There is no reprieve from the chilling contempt contained within these sonic chambers, yet one will ultimately find the true catharsis in the exaltation of death which is thus brought forth. Desperate, yet triumphant are these chants of the night. Freezing and forlorn, as they herald the winds of war.

ORDEAL & PLIGHT (Germany) Her Bones In Whispers (May 21, 2021) shoegaze, post-rock
Ossuaire emerges anew as the grandiose and impetuous first chapter of a concept spawning two albums and recounting the major events contributing to the downfall of christianity and the rise of heresy resounds. Ossuaire delivers a resolutely unwholesome breed of Black Metal, both corrosive and melodic, bestowing upon this offering an aura that is as dark as it is authentic.
Paradox was formed in Würzburg in 1986 by two young musicians, Charly Steinhauer and Axel Blaha. Both of them were founding members of German metal bands Overkill, Venom and Warhead since 1981. Early 1986 they finally changed the band name to PARADOX. In July 1986, the band recorded a demo, drawing the attention of Roadrunner Records. In 1987, PARADOX recorded their second demo "Mystery" which was a success for the band, with the German press calling it the best demo of the year. In the same year, the band started recording their first album ‘Product of Imagination’ for RoadRunner records. The debut album was an enormous success in Germany, with Metal Hammer recognising it as the best German debut after ‘Walls of Jericho’ by Helloween. The album ‘Mystery Demo 1987 - Deluxe edition’ contains the pre Paradox demos from 1985 and 1983, 16 tracks in total. Cover artwork by Thomas Pinheiro (Possessed, Hirax, Malevolent Creation). Extensive liner notes with founding member Charlie Steinhauer and tonns of pictures from the 1981 – 1987 era. Paradox still exists up till today and has released 8 full length albums and a handful of singles / ep’s.
Comes in a 4-panel digipack with a 12-page booklet. First batch comes in black polycarbonate CD.
Drinking deep from the well of ‘90s second wave Black Metal, the masterful first utterance from Finnish newcomers PESTILENT HEX is a flawlessly reverent blend of symphonic nostalgia, modern power and ravishing grimness.
Previously only included in the "Hoelle und vernichtung" discography vinyl boxset (now completely sold out) this total cult session is finally back, for the first time on CD! Raw, punishing Black/Thrash from one of Germany's oldest and most influential hordes of darkness and evil! A blood-drenching set featuring all their classic anthems in the crudest form plus some hidden gems that haven't been included on their demos and album.
Quoting Uli Hildenbrand himself: "the best complete recording of a POISON Live set in decent quality (sound and performance-wise), done in our rehearsal room but with somewhat better equipment and -of course- remastered in the most effective way by F.O.A.D. and yours truly! It was recorded in November 1986 in preparation of our first (and only) studio session planned for the end of December, when we were still trying to figure out which of the songs we would eventually record in the studio. Some oft he latest material was still „work in progress“, especially „Sphynx“ wich I think was rehearsed here for the first time ever… On the other hand, pretty much all of the trax we’d already recorded for the previous 3 demos are featured here in vastly superior versions. Listen to „Angel of Satan“ or „Legions of Hell“ AND there is that one song that we never recorded before or again – although it’s probably one of our best (in retrospect) – check out „Zombie Dance“ [continues in the CD booklet] ..."
