A little more than a year after the acclaimed, massive Frozen Bloom, Olhava is back with a brand new studio album.
Reborn explores yet another side of the relationship between man and nature. In a darker turn, the duo presents a more pessimistic and cautionary reflection on the environment in contrast to their previous albums.
“Reborn is a story about a man who forgot what brought him here. Who neglected a precious, parental, and primordial bond with nature; who unconsciously destroys the one and only home we all share, along with himself. The irreversible damage we do to our environment will see mankind “beheaded”, whilst nature and life itself will thrive eternally.
We’d like to believe though that if we realised the value of that bond and embraced it, we’d be given a glimpse of hope in this fatalistic madness - a chance to be spared.

In the year marking their 30th anniversary, The Frozen Autumn is back with a new release featuring six new songs, and its title, The Shape Of Things To Come, already hints at the topics that are the closest to the band’s heart.

Leimotivs such as dreamlike visions, parallel realities, recollections of past lives, unfold between rarefied landscapes, passions immortalized in a suspended time, crepuscular atmospheres where the promise of different possible futures, if only partially revealed, is dwelling.

The Shape Of Things To Come resumes the narrative from The Fellow Traveller, yet it is brought to new sound horizons, where layers of electronic sequences merge with rhythmic weaves and pulsing energies, in the unique style that's been the trademark of the band  for these last three decades.

Originally released in late 1993, A Day In The Stark Corner is the second studio album by darkwave masters Lycia (third, if you take into account the 1989 EP Wake). Despite being one of the most praised and influential releases in the field, as well as one of Projekt Records most sought-after titles, the album never received a vinyl treatment. Until today. Twentynine years after its original publication, Avantgarde Music renews its cooperation with the US band and brings A Day In The Stark Corner to a wax form for the first time ever, following the same path treaded with Cold and Ionia in recent times.

Moonlight Sorcery is a Finnish black metal trio formed in early 2018. The band’s black metal is a symphonic and melodic variety by nature. Inspired by many black metal classics as well as classic heavy metal and melodic death metal, the band indeed has a huge palette of influences, which is directly reflected in the versatility of the song material.

Piercing Through the Frozen Eternity, the band first EP, was worked on as the icy winds blew and winter did its magic. In all the peace and quiet. The silver-saturated nights of the moon rushed to the melodies that breathe sorrow and the eternal majesty of the cold stars.
