Back in stock - musica Black Metal e Dark estrema
Lucifericon‘s first full-length recording, Al-Khem-Me. Tongue-twistingly titled but aptly so, Al-Khem-Me keeps apace with the developments of Brimstone Altar and further masters the art of the “patient payoff.” Its blackened DEATH literally explodes from the very first seconds, but the band’s songwriting builds detail upon subtle detail despite the obvious aggression employed. Utterly gnarled and gnarling, the lurch ‘n’ lunge across Al-Khem-Me creates a bewilderingly slipstreaming effect, dragging the listener into a distant, nameless vortex, but always with a keen knack for memorability. For above alll, this is METAL, unbending and unyielding, forged in fire and weilded as a weapon; it just so happens that Lucifericon‘s is one fully set on attack, its intensity steeped in the grand traditions of late ’80s / early ’90s death.
Saule was formed in Poland in 2015, which has come to have the most creative and ever-surprising extreme metal scene of any European country - and for underground music, in general. It is incredible the amount of new bands and great music that this country is giving to fans for the past 15 years - and let's not forget the past! - both in metal, post-rock and prog metal fields.
And that's precisely where Saule comes in with Saule. The band's formation process and search for the proper people took about two years, and it resulted in a carefully crafted debut album recorded during the late autumn of 2016 in Satanic Audio. A work of vast vision and rigorous repose, the sound across Saule is focused around post-metal and post-rock genre, but strongly deriving from black metal and acutely coated in subtle ambient echoes.
Given Saule's rather brief existence and minimal experiences so far (although they've already made their live debut with landmates Thaw and others), the band presently prefers to keep a minimalistic outlook and would love to let the music do the talking. Open your ears to Saule!

"The Sachem's Tales is an amazing work of solid, agonizing and intense feelings cutting black metal. Behind the music there lies a melodic agreement with the guitars and the synthesizer sounds, kind of giving a counterpoint to each, but all joining in the end for fantastic melodic landscapes. From worlds of mythologies and legends, the lyrics never saturate, even on the predictable despair of the clean female voice and strings moments."

Infused with the same spirit as the preceding EPs, with Into the Wild VOODUS has honed their craft to its most fierce and finessed essence. This record is indeed a wild and winding ride through the murky depths of starkly melodic yet crypt-pure black metal. Their sound is staunchly rooted in the 1990s - with ice-cold melodies racing across the searing surge of black metal – but breathes a refreshing sense of dynamics and pacing. VOODUS does not engage with the blast-a-thons of old, the indiscernible blur of one song protracted over 30-plus minutes. Instead, the quartet unloads expert compositional variety here, with memorable melodicism constantly at the forefront - all of it framed in a clear and cutting production courtesy of the esteemed Necromorbus Studio. And it's a truly epic experience clocking in at 61 minutes, allowing the listener's wanderlust to truly run wild.

A Grey Chill And A Whisper is Beltez successor of the highly acclaimed record Exiled, Punished…Rejected and deals with despair, hopelessness, but also courage and strength. This wide emotional range is conveyed through haunting melodies, gripping shrieks and pounding drums into a dense, sinister and very moody piece of dark art music. The result is a monolithic entity that frightens as much as it allures.
A Grey Chill And A Whisper provides just enough room for the listener to briefly gasp for air amidst its overpowering walls of sound and is an unforgettable journey into a dark and desperate world
Dopo alcuni demo, mini e split arriva l'esordio a lunga durata per questa band americana, in puro old-style black metal. Confezione in Digipack molto curato
"Fear" is a memorable slab of dark, riff-heavy black metal. It'll please anyone who likes their black metal catchy rather than drone-y -- think Master's Hammer or Mortuary Drape, and then check this out. Recommended.

"Dietro questo progetto c'è l'idea di supportare la scena, cercando di unificare tutta la nostra penisola. Come è possibile vedere, si tratta di quattro gruppi di quattro posizioni geografiche ben differenti. - Veratrum di Bergamo a rappresentare il Nord Italia, - Ulfhednar di Roma a rappresentare Centro Italia, - AngrEnosT di Ossi (Sardegna) a rappresentare "le Isole" - Azog di Trani a rappresentare il Sud Italia."
