A concept album of sorts, Serpent Sermon is an unadulterated attack on all that is good, casting a heavy pall over light and love. “Angelus Exuro Pro Eternus” is the fifth satanic symphony by the Swedish black metal overlords and was originally put out in 2009. Once again produced by longtime sound master Peter Tägtgren (Hypocrisy) it was a more traditional masterpiece offering blasting tempo and hymn-like melodies to equal parts. Accompanied by five fantastic live tracks recoded in Buenos Aires (for the first time on audio CD) spanning the band's entire history it furthermore features remastered sound, new layouts, liner notes and unseen photos. riginally released in the autumn of 2005, of DARK FUNERAL's fourth album, Attera Totus Sanctus, was arguably the band's fastest and fiercest record ever – which is all the more remarkable given the band's longevity to that point. Where most bands soften or slow down as they get older – or break up, respectably, before ruining their good name – DARK FUNERAL proved that age is just a number and made their razor-sharp yet always-melodic sound that much more nuclear-powered. In fact, that they were able combine such amazingly blitzed speeds with melodies that are highly memorable, even at those speeds, is something that's black magick indeed… And another fiery album cover proved that nothing could extinguish DARK FUNERAL's inferno!

At long last, OSMOSE will do DARK FUNERAL's back catalog justice with the first of many reissues. This version of Attera Totus Sanctus will faithfully reproduce the original, now finally available on CD.

Recorded within less than two weeks at a studio in Wilster, Germany back in 1993, “The Ending Quest” was a bit of a forgotten obscurity until Century Media Records' 2012 anthology “Within the Shadow of Darkness”, which also covered all of the band's demo recordings.
Now, the album is made available again as a limited edition including liner notes by Chris Dick (Decibel Magazine, USA).

FERVOR...FUROR...TERROR

Influenced by bands such as Caladan Brood, Elderwind, Saor and Gallowbraid, Cân Bardd was founded in 2016 as a one‐man project by then 18 year old Malo Civelli from Switzerland, with the purpose of creating an outlet for his feelings and ideas that would be at once heavy and aggressive, yet also melodic and atmospheric. Dylan Watson later joined him as permanent drummer. With the first two albums Cân Bardd already managed to enthrall a lot of fans in the Atmospheric Black Metal community, and with “Devoured by the Oak” the band set their sights even higher. The goal was to create a perfect blend of the strengths of the first two albums ‐ the ambience, textures and atmosphere of the debut, and the composition and quality of the sophomore album, culminating in a more mature sound and a more intense experience for the listener. To reach that goal the band once again teamed up with Vladimir Cochet as producer and asked the painter Michael Handt to create a very unique oil painting for the cover.

Three years after the second full-length 'Faunalia', the singer/keyboardist Selvans returns with a new EP.
'Dark Italian Art' is definitely the Manifesto of the Italian composer. Selvans confirms the prog rock and symphonic influences introducted in the previous work (with Goblin and Devil Doll ruling the roost), imprinting them definitely in his folk-horror scenery.

The EP introduces 'Corvo Morto' (Italian for 'Dead Crow'), a character created by Selvans in collaboration with the horror writer Luigi Musolino and to whom the track 'Verrà Corvo Morto' (Italian for 'Corvo Morto will come') is connected, as well as the homonimous tale attached to the 80 pages digi-book version of the EP.
Aside from the second new track 'Iò Pan!' and the outro 'L'Errante', Selvans celebrates the artistic heritage of his country with the cover of 'The Hanged Ballad' taken from the first Death SS' album and a cover medley of the legendary album 'Inferno' by Metamorfosi, a progressive italian rock band from the 70's.

This will be the first work in which Selvans is joined by his full live band, made of valid musicians who are with him since several years of concerts.
Learnt the lesson of the great masters of the horror and the absurd in music – with Screamin' Jay Hawkins and King Diamond above all – Selvans offers a decandent and peculiar interpretation which is brazenly Italian.
Walking among woods and ruins of ghost villages, Selvans leads a procession of outcasts hidden behind animal masks, on a muddy stage weaved with roots, whispering rituals of rural magic and cursed doggerels.

Inherits The Void is the musical endeavor of French multi-instrumentalist Antoine Scholtès. Born in 2020, the project based in Clermont-Ferrand released the Mémoires EP before starting to work on a proper full-length studio album.

Monolith Of Light hence marks Inherits The Void debut album, born from Scholtès’s desire for “a meeting between influences from the ‘90s Swedish Black Metal scene and a more current orientation of the genre”. Rage and melody entwine in these seven hymns to the transience of man, bringing to mind the great masterworks of Dissection, Dawn and Vinterland, as well as the more contemporary sounds of France.

Inherits The Void adds to their deep black metal roots, incorporating atmospheric hints from bands like Celeste, Déluge and Nesseria: “the main idea behind that album was to compose songs that would be both melodic and atmospheric, embraced by the desire to propose a range of various emotions”.
