"Zeitlang" is the harsh debut full-length of Bavarian black metal act GRÀB featuring founding vocalist Grant. The former DARK FORTRESS frontman has written the entire concept album in a local dialect of Germany's southernmost Alpine state.

GRÀB, which means “old and grey”, are lyrically telling the story of an old man, who has chosen to withdraw from society into an isolated cottage deep in the mountains, where he reflects on his life while his death edges ever closer. The story on "Zeitlang" ("Yearning") begins in his early childhood with the song 'Nachtkrapp' ("Night Raven") and continues all the way to his end, which is illuminated by the track 'A Gråbliacht' ("A Grave Lantern").

Musically, GRÀB are picking up the Norwegian strands of early GEHENNA, ULVER, and DARKTHRONE as well as being inspired by German NAGELFAR and LUNAR AURORA. Yet true to their topic, the Bavarians include traditional local elements, which is instrumentally expressed by the use of hammered dulcimer, zither and alphorn.

As one of the most highly acclaimed albums from media, worldwide fans, and included in several top 2018 album lists, Clouds third album “Dor” meant an even further peak of creativity in Daniel Neagoe´s cult band. This second entry includes a set of stellar main vocalists ranging from Witch Mountain´s Kayla Dixon, Sylvaine, Mihu Ilie (Abigail) to the contest winner Caleb Bergen (Sleepwalkers).

A two part album: Leviathan, the Twisting Serpent is a two track ritualistic soundscape and dark ceremonial piece, Michael W Ford utilized Leviathan research and reconstructed invocations as published in his "Dragon of the Two Flames" book (Succubus Productions Publishing, LApotheca). These two tracks are sonic explorations and hymns to the mystical symbol of Leviathan, the Encircler. The Ouraboros is the world serpent which represents primal chaos, abyssic darkness and the acasual. The 2nd part is a live ritual recording Halloween/Samhain 2018 to bridge the spirit with the astral plane of Nightside Vampyrism and Lycanthropy.

Eard is the Old English noun for land, country and home. Consisting in harpist Glorya Lyr and multi-instrumentalist MK (Silence Thereafter, Duir), the band borrowed the title for their debut De Rerum Natura from the poem by Roman author Lucretius, composed in the first century BC and translated as On The Nature Of Things.

After contributing to Saor Forgotten Paths, writing and performing the closing track “Exile”, Eard set forth to craft their own music. The band’s focus is to investigate human nature, of which De Rerum Natura depicts several aspects mainly related to Old English and Italian poetics.

The duo has solid roots in melodic black metal, and adds their own twist with the extensive use of the celtic harp, the strings of which constantly intertwine with the classic black metal equipment. The result of such is De Rerum Natura, a familiar yet extremely personal blend of atmospheric, nature-infused black metal.

"Even at their crucible, Cemetery of Scream was a force unto themselves. Original, dark and not afraid to experiment best sum up the bands humble beginnings. It’s always nice when you can listen to a band, put them in a category and do so without pointing out who they sound like if not a few resemblances to early My Dying Bride.

Calculating and cruel, steeped in an ambiance of controlled fury, the nine tracks offer a jarring journey through the haunted recesses of the mortal mind. They are violent and hypnotic, but also bring out the occasional demented melody to keep things unpredictable. The lyrics - manic demonological verses that read as the album sounds - are roared, chanted, moaned and snarled with equal parts conviction and possession. All combined, this results in a soundscape which, whilst firmly rooted in the death metal tradition, is thoroughly imbued with a theatrical vibe and spiritual depth more associated with black metal.
