"The storm bells chime" is the music for all the raging storms flickering out into the great nothing that make our lives.
Conceived by SOL-founder Emil Brahe and brought into being through a collaboration by four selected members of black metal, punk rock and electronic ambient projects in Aarhus, Denmark.
Created with synthesizers, piano, twang guitar and manipulated sounds recorded at the harbour of Aarhus as well as vocals by three vocalists including throat singing and gregorian chanting.
The result is an emotionally and atmospherically charged album crossing genres around dark doom metal, esoteric drones and neofolk. The lyrics reflect on loss and childhood and how the two interact when one grow older and succumbs to loathing.

The Norwegian Grammy nominated Vreid venture back to their roots on their 7th album titled “Sólverv”. Cold dissonance and feverish melodies embellish this opus. Inspired by the blood heritage of Hváll who, alongside his fellow band members, hails from the deep valleys of Sogndal in Norway; a place where his ancestors fought and died to preserve their precious land. “Sólverv” is an epic milestone for this tyrannical brigade.
Summit of the two German masters of instrumental post metal/post rock from North of Bavaria. The former SWITCHBLADE worshippers MOUNT LOGAN surprise with their turn towards weird Albini-esque noise rock deconstructions, occasionally even with vocals added. OMEGA MASSIF, as you would expect from them, once again create a dard, moody and opulent soundscape with heavy crushing guitars and irresistible killer grooves."
BLUUURGH was one of the first Dutch extreme metal bands featuring Jason Kohnen (Korsakov, Celestial Season, Orphanage, nowadays Bong Ra) with his charismatic extreme vocals.
BLUURGH recorded 2 demos, one e.p. and a full length in the late 80’s /early 90’s.
Their debut album ‘In My Embarce’ is now finally re-issued, this time under the ’new’ monicker ‘Suffer Within, 25 years of suffering’.
Bonus to the album comes the legendary ‘Suffer Within’ EP (1990), directly taken from one of the original EP’s, including the good old vinyl scratches to preserve the old school underground feeling.
The album is completely remasterd by Bong Ra ( = Jason Kohnen’s breakcore music stage / artist name these days).
depressive black metal .It's what Burzum did best on Dunkelheit and what bands like Make A Change… Kill Yourself and Abyssic Hate excel at to varying degrees. Ömheten's debut album is explosive and, at times, mesmerising. From the opening screams of Det som släcker mig we are in a mid-paced unending soul-crushing hell. The leads on second track Själv are upliftingly morose and the prominent bass is more than welcome.
