With the forces of fire and ice – darkness and light DRAUGURINN summons us to bear witness to her second creation “Myrkraverk”. It is a ritualistic work of art, derived from the ancient pulse of Icelandic traditions and lore, each song a sacrifice to the elements of nature and the powers that dwells therein. With drums and runes, melody and chants she explores something that lies hidden, a world or a state of mind we do not often get to travel to. ”Myrkraverk” possesses you with a hypnotic calm and leaves you with the question of what might be out there, within, underneath and above.

Where Ghost Bath's critically acclaimed "Moonlover" album (the first part of a trilogy) explored melancholy, sorrow,
earth, purgatory & tragedy, their new opus "Starmourner" focuses on joy, the cosmos, paradise & ecstasy. With over 72
minutes of heavy, melodic, and dramatic Black Metal, it is Ghost Bath's most ambitious undertaking yet. The album
takes its listener on a journey in a variety of ways. Each track is accompanied by a beautifully crafted painting as well
as a "parable" to read alongside. This allows the listeners to explore not only the audio soundscapes, but also to have a
visual and imaginative experience as they delve into the album. "The stories, or parables, look into Jewish angelology
and the hierarchy of angels as found in the bible and other religious texts." says Nameless. "Although the album has a
definitive joyful and hopeful feel, it is still drenched in depression and sorrow, as any true Ghost Bath record should be."

Herzogian Darkness is a shadowy plunge into strange, shapeshifting depths. "... 1996's Triarchy of the Lost Lovers is RC's triumph and masterpiece. It is among the best extreme metal albums every made. Each song strikes a different chord inside the listener, making each song unique in delivery, yet the songs reign in the realm of the album. The drums especially the snare drum hit with a clear resonance. Though the guitars are low tuned for the Death/Black metal genre, they emit sound clearly and in the perfect space inside the open air of the album's production. At times Sakis nearly whispers and can be heard just as well as the loudest guitar. Though Rotting Christ are unquestionably an Extreme Metal group, playing the heaviest on Triarchy is not a primary goal, and hardly a secondary goal. The combination of distinctly heard guitar riffs that have the perfect tone and overdrive and the impeccable melody and sublime guitar harmony throughout makes the album pace at a nearly enchanting speed.
