Yersinia Pestis is a band part of the Southern Lodge, hailing from the coldest and most hidden depths of Northern Spain. Formed in 2006, it includes members of other well-known Spanish bands such as In the Shades, Empty, Cryptic Wanderings, Ataraxy, Black Spirit, etc.
After several demos and the split, "putrefactio", this is their debut album. It offers a clear allegory of our current times, full of meanness, fragility and the mockery of decadent society we live in.

Originally released as a demo in 1995, ixiol is proud to present this hidden gem of Norwegian black metal on CD for the very first time. Powerful, icy melodies with occasional violin and synth arrangements, it is a true relic of  ’90s Norwegian black metal. It remains a mystery how this demo never garnered the band the recognition it deserved.

nearly 60 minutes-long debut album is titled 'The Throne Room of Fathomless Melancholy'. The gloomy, barren, mystical material raises the flag of Black Metal created by the great ancestors. Its themes are soaked in the search for secret teachings and divine truths, disappointment with the world, and the motif of death as fulfillment.

 Alternate split released by Warhagan Records in 2024 with Vallachia (1994) and Olavian (1999-2001) bands.
