The first full-length album from America’s most vile and raw black metal act, Ärid. Utterly evil and utterly devastated, it is composed of feral performances that sound as though a forsaken, dying body has gathered its last strength to annihilate the enemies who abandoned it. Beyond the rusted gates, the revenge of the slaughtered victims dreams in silence. First-ever CD edition from Hidden Marly Production!
Second Full-Length Album. Emerging once more from the abyss, the American purveyors of depraved and primitive Black Metal, Ärid, return with their second full-length offering. Exhumed from subterranean catacombs reeking of cursed remains and maggot-spawned decay, this work channels raw, unholy energy into a performance both violent and mesmerizing. As the all-consuming twilight sinks into the abyss of ruin, the grave is sealed in sulfurous flesh and petrified stone — a monument to absolute corruption and death. First-ever CD edition from Hidden Marly Production
On this fourth opus, the project descends into its most primitive essence. While the previous works unveiled more polished medieval atmospheres and epic soundscapes, here the focus is on a deliberately raw sound, unrefined in its mix, carrying the rough edge of early ’90s demos. "Unholy Empire Trilogy" consists of three tracks, each 11:11 minutes long, reaching a total of 33:33. This is no accident, but rather a ritualistic continuity with past works, share that same symbolic duration. Each composition is crafted with strategic intent: the first track opens with black metal fury, the second conceals its black core at the very heart, and the third holds it back until the climactic end. The dungeon passages are never mere filler — they serve as connective tissue, binding the black metal surges with atmosphere and lyricism rooted in Luciferian and medieval imagery. A dark march where the echoes of medieval catacombs intertwine with the thunder of battle, delivering a manifesto of raw epic medieval black metal!!
