Following the successful launch of the comprehensive reissue campaign for the precious musical legacy of Sweden's pioneering melodic death metal band Edge of Sanity, which began in 2024, the final titles of the fourth and final chapter are now set to be released in spring 2026.

Led by the band's vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, and acclaimed metal producer Dan Swanö (Opeth, Katatonia, Dissection, Bloodbath, Nightingale, etc.), Edge of Sanity's entire catalogue has been fully remastered and partly remixed by Swanö himself. It will finally be extensively available again in several attractive versions.

Cryptic, Edge of Sanity's 1997 death metal album featuring the then-new vocalist Robert Karlsson (Scar Symmetry, Pan.Thy.Monium, Facebreaker, Darkified), who replaced Dan Swanö, is finally available again as a remastered version on CD and LP.

Batushka's 2019 Opus Returns: The Liturgy of Death Re-released!

Back on Black is proud to announce the comprehensive reissue of Hospodi (Church Slavonic for "Lord"), the second full-length album from the Polish black metal phenomenon, Batushka. Initially released in 2019, Hospodi represents a more polished, melodic, and theatrical evolution of the band's signature, ritualistic sound.

Based on the Eastern Orthodox "Liturgy of Death" and traditional funeral rites, the album is a thematic journey through death and judgment. This reissue brings back the ten-track masterpiece, which blends traditional black metal (tremolo riffs, ferocious blast beats) with haunting choirs, atmospheric ambient interludes, and profound Slavic chants.

Hospodi was lauded for its dramatic production, and this reissue shines a light on key tracks like the atmospheric opener "Wozglas," the rocking-yet-menacing "Wieczernia," and the powerful closer "Liturgiya".

After years of silence, Toroidh returns with a somber new chapter — a fusion of dark ambient textures, martial industrial rhythms, and the distant echoes of funeral marches. Rooted in forest solitude and sharpened by a deep contempt for human folly, this album explores the fleeting nature of freedom — a concept always just out of reach, always reshaped by history and hubris.
