Vendita CD - musica Black Metal e Dark estrema
RAW, RUTHLESS AND CEREMONIALLY DARK!
Only two years after its inception in 2023, the ominous entity hailing from Germany has come up with their first full-length. Consisting of 6 songs with the first one being an instrumental intro, “Fiery Paths” is a very convincing effort on all levels. Notwithstanding the fact INFERNAL PRESENCE has only been active for 2 years, their hybrid of Black- and Death Metal sounds as if it had been composed by a seasoned band. Unlike many outfits whose songs consist of a salad of riffs randomly thrown together, INFERNAL PRESENCE are apt at cleverly composing their material by frequently alternating between different tempi and moods. Fast tremolo picked riffs akin to DISSECTION or MAYHEM are alternated with palm muted Thrash riffs or atmospheric slow-paced arpeggios reminding of WATAIN or ONDSKAPT.
In so doing the two-piece creates dynamic songs that succeed in truly capturing the listener’s attention. Just listen to standout tracks like “Eternal Exodus” or the exceptional “Tomb Procession” with its slithering groove and you will see our point proven. Although, only sharing certain musical elements with said bands, the suffocating atmosphere of “Fiery Paths” reminds of NEGATIVE PLANE’s first album or early SECRETS OF THE MOON. Fortunately, the production fits the material just splendidly, too. While being gritty and raw, thus emphasising the album’s ferociousness, it’s still polished enough so that no detail gets buried in the mix.
INFERNAL PRESENCE unleashed a record suffused with unrelenting darkness! If you consider yourself a fan of some of the bands mentioned above, do yourself a favour and listen to this beast of an album!
Jewel-case CD, 12-page booklet.
DEMONOID re-issue, THERION’s Christoffer Johnsson return to Death metal!
Therion entered a new path late 90’s with Therion. Of course Therion was one of the forefathers of Swedish death metal. After a decade the more progressive and gothic elements took over and made Therion the band it is nowadays. The death metal blood in Johnson was still running however and found a way out in the formation of Demoniod. The main goal was playing pure old school Swedish Death metal. Johnson was joined by his Therion bandmember Kristian Niemann on guitars (Sorcerer, ex-Snowy Shaw (live)) and completed by Johan Niemann on bass (Evergrey, Hollingshead, ex-Mind's Eye, ex-Tears of Anger, ex-Therion, ex-Tiamat) and Richard Evensand on drums (Ebony Tears, ex-Chimaira, ex-Sorcerer, ex-Therion, ex-Soilwork)
Covering from 1986 to 1990, this CD collects the four demos completely (remastered) by Texas thrash unit Rotting Corpse! This short lived band delivered hi-octane lone star thrash metal, perfectly fitting amongst the fellow bands from their area, such as Devastation, Rigor Mortis and Gammacide. These four demos are filled with thrashing goodness, with blazing riffs and basslines and tight drumming, everything topped with evil caustic vocals. One of the most underrated gems in US thrash metal history. The second two demos were produced by Vinnie Paul (Pantera) and the first demo by Vinnie and Dimebags’s father, Jerry Abbott (who also produced the first four Pantera albums). Featuring (ex) members of Solitude Aeturnus, Devastation, ex-Death (live) and Gammacide. Track 1-3: demo 1 1986), tracks 4-7 Demo 2, Fuck It, Its Only Thrash (987), track 8-9 Demo Walts Sinking Ship Tape (1988), 10 - 16 Demo 4 (1990).
Info : Mysticism, magic, occult arts and rituals, all of which are driving factors behind ΑΧΕΡΟΝΤΑΣ, are also the most adequate words that can be used to describe the band's image, sound, and lyrics.
The band is considered as one of the leading representatives of the second wave of Greek black metal, heavily influenced by the original Hellenic metal scene, retro rock (especially '70s rock), and occult/spiritual philosophy & activism.

'Divine Spiritual and Intellectual Development" is 1990 debut album by the Dutch thrash band Usurper, formed in 1985. The album their debut full-length release that features nine tracks, including "Egoistic Mind" and "Diseased Reality". Despite its ambitious title, the music is described by some as more of a straightforward, late-'80s thrash sound, the production, with its airy, powerful guitar tone and reverb-strong mixing gives it a timeless draw. The best late 80’s Dutch thrash bands were those that rapidly made the transition into a death/thrash hybrid, and then often into full on death metal. Pestilence, Thanatos, all need no introduction, but there were very few bands that stuck with the initial genre and met any kind of success. Usurper is a pretty rare find, a group that actually started off as a death metal act (they put out a demo as Sepulchral Death) and then evolved into a pure thrash act. All 3 demos, Sepulchral Death (considered as Usurper demo 1) demo 1 1986, Chants of Traducement Demo 2, 1987, Demo 3 from 1988 and full length Divine Spiritual and Intellectual Development are included on this massive double cd and double vinyl re-issue. The booklet contains rare and old pictures, flyers and posters. Extensive liner notes from Steven Willems (Rock Tribune, Streams of Ancient Wisdom: The History of Dutch Death And Extreme Metal).
