It’s about time to reveal all the faces of the night! Moonlight Sorcery will release their first full-length album entitled Horned Lord of the Thorned Castle on September 29th. Expect nothing but an ice cold blizzard that will conquer your castles, crumble your towers and withhold the daylight forever!

Horned Lord Of The Thorned Castle is a perfect combination of the atmosphere from Piercing Through the Frozen Eternity and the rawness of Nightwind: The Conqueror from the Stars, the band’s two EPs released in 2022 and early 2023.

Moonlight Sorcery wants to raise the bar, and these new nine songs have even more melodic hooks and shreddy guitar work. Frozen synth walls further develop the Finnish trio’s unique sound, a vibe you cannot find in any other black metal record.

Horned Lord Of The Thorned Castle follows a specific narrative, and its nine compositions tell a single tale, with every song starting where the previous one left off. “Basically, our debut could be a single 44-minute song”, the band said. Yet, the pleasure of learning such a tale is yours. Prepare, wanderer, to meet the Horned Lord of the Thorned Castle!

Beholder is a Québécois black metal band born in 2016. The quintet released an EP in 2019, Ancien Monde, and their debut album, Arcane Subreptice, was featured as one of the best metal releases on Bandcamp in 2022. Two years later, Beholder inks a deal with Avantgarde Music to release their sophomore record, Dualisme, an opus the band themselves describe as a huge improvement on their already solid foundations.

Dualisme is a 35-minute assault of aggressive, up-tempo black metal with melodic, doomy passages which deeply contribute to its overall atmosphere. Beholder singer, Mécréant (Saccage, Sulfure), screams his lungs out in French, keeping the true spirit from Québec aflame. The album production is intended to be powerful and massive, yet preserving an organic and raw feel to it.

 The album comes with a 16 page booklet and full artwork design. Limited to 500 copies on CD.

Anthesis is a groundbreaking new album from Australia's @suldusk444 formerly a one woman project and now a full band. Mixed by Troy Mccosker (Ne Obliviscaris) and mastered by Thomas Johansson (Soilwork), Anthesis is a true game changer for the heavy genre, blurring lines and dissolving the boundaries of heavy music as we know it today. A synthesis of dark folk and a myriad of heavy genres, Anthesis creates a resonance which alights both the shimmers and the shadows from the deepest woodlands.

This EP of dark majesty and melancholy is a journey through time and nightside dimensions. The Black Metal flame of "Violet Mercury" sets the world ablaze as the haunting synth-scapes of "Moonlit Sorcery" create waves of nostalgia from kingdoms forgotten by all but a few.

Evergarden is the duo of Kyle Palmanteer and Nate Mast, plus the great help of vocalist Justin Gregorio (courtesy of Gloomchild). The band fuses much of the atmospheric and ambient stylings of modern blackgaze bands, such as Deafheaven, Lantlôs, Olhava, etc., but with a much stronger emphasis on their post-hardcore influences.

All of which shines in the four monumental songs of debut album "In Light". Songs that form a flux of feral and raw emotions, floating seamlessly through utter despair and ecstatic beauty.
