The highly anticipated 2nd full-length by this Romanian band. Hailing from Transylvania, Putred was formed by Uriel on guitars (Morbicus, Vorus, Reveler) and Filip on vocals / bass (Necrotum, Vorus, Demoted) back in June 2020. Dante (Slaughter Ceremony, ex-In Obscurity Revealed, ex-Infested) joined the band behind the drumkit right after writing the first two songs, titled "Necroza" and "Devorat de Viermi." These tracks were self-released as a promo/demo tape in July 2020. In late 2021, Corina (ex-Deimos, Vorus, Reveler) joined the band as a bass player and Filip stuck to vocals only. In October 2022, Doru (ex-Necrovile, Vorus, Malpraxis) replaced Dante on drums, and the band immediately started playing live all over Romania. After myriad splits and more demos, Putred released their debut album, "Repulsie Post-Mortem", in early 2023. If that simple-yet-sublime debut full-length firmed up their filthy foundation, then Putred´s second album surely builds that foundation ever higher -and deeper- with miles of slime! Titled "Megalit al Putrefacției", Putred perfect pounding, ponderously mid-paced Death Metal of a most eldritch nature. Rancid and foul-smelling as ever, the Romanians´ tank continues to crush forward at a patient gait, exhibiting brutality and all-out heaviness not through sheer speed or dazzling displays of technique, but rather through thoughtful songwriting, slamming/slithering riffing and none-slimier atmosphere. The leads are especially eerie, as are the multi-tracked high/low vocals, with Corina´s wandering bass-work instilling a truly unsettling feeling. Sonic references across "Megalit al Putrefacției" are many -Mortician at half-speed, Cianide at their world-eating best, early Necrophagia´s weird textures, Apparition/Sorrow with a shot of energy, and of course the unholy trifecta of Bolt Thrower, Asphyx and Grave- but Putred manage to integrate their own personality into proceedings, particularly their lyrics, all written and growled in their native tongue, telling short horror-drenched stories about death, horror, the occult and the afterlife. The closing cover of Autopsy´s "Critical Madness" simply underlines that spiritual center. Completed by absolutely perfect cover artwork courtesy of Jan Pysander Whitney, Putred´s "Megalit al Putrefacției" is prime-grade Death Metal for those who want it slower, deeper and harder.

Time To Kill Records together with the publishing house Hollow Press, specialized in publications "Dark Weird Fantasy" join forces to give birth to a collaboration for the release of the cyber game "Cyberflesh" where extreme music, horror comics and "dark Weird" experience merge.
Created by Simone Alberto Grifone (game designer), David Genchi (drawings) and Marco Taddei (texts), and published by Hollow Press with soundtrack of the masters of Italian death Fulci and the hypnotic sounds of Talpah.
This collaboration was born as a soundtrack for "Cyber Flesh", a comic that mixes elements of cyberpunk, science fiction and horror. Through the music of Talpah and the Fulci, the comic comes to life in a symphony of distorted sounds and horror visions, taking the listener on a sensory journey through the dark depths of the human mind and beyond.
“Invisible Threads” is a sonic assault that penetrates the darkest depths of existence. This album explores themes of human degradation, unspoken fears, and wars that ravage not only bodies but also minds. A fierce manifestation of death metal, “Invisible Threads” overwhelms the listener with a crescendo of sonic brutality and raw emotions—an unrelenting frontal impact from the first to the last track, destined to leave a lasting mark.
MURDERWORKS is the third full album of Rotten Sound and is also considered as the stepping stone for the band, which also got us finally touring internationally. We had been doing more crusty stuff at first on Under Pressure and earlier releases. Then we added elements of death metal on Drain and finally started blasting more than ever on Murderworks.
Murderworks was created mostly during 2001, when Keijo already lived in Tampere while others still were based in Vaasa. Keijo had moved already in 1997, but on 2001 he was rehearsing more than before with others, who were also spending a lot of time together at the rehearsal place. That extensive rehearsing made the release and entire band tighter than before, which probably has a lot to do with how the album ended up being.
Quinto Sol was the brainchild of Faith & Disease keyboardist, the late Joaquin Tavares (d. 2006). Joaquin and co-founder Alfredo Feregrino sculpted a very brilliant "pre-Hispanic" ritual project that incorporated complex Mayan and Ancient symbolism woven into a percussive, dirge-like soundscapes. Tracks are culled from the studio and a "Day Of The Dead" live performance at the Seattle Art Museum. "Ollintonatiuh" also includes performances from F&D's Dara Rosenwasser, Eric Cooley and Joshua Furman while members of Quinto Sol. Bonus tracks include an alternate mix of the Tavares composition "Wallow" from F&D's CD Fortune His Sleep
After "THE DISINTEGRATION OF SILENCE", marked as a continuation of the work between visual artist Stefano Gentile and Belgian ambient musician Dirk Serries, Dirk returns to Stefano's Silentes/13 label with a new album, entitled "DEFIANCE OF SELF". In the wake of its predecessor, Dirk worked on this album in January 2024 using his motherboard of pedals and an electric guitar to create this slightly darker and experimental album. Once again performed and recorded entirely in real-time, and embracing the willful character of some of his outboard pedal effects, Dirk allows them to lead direction of each piece. "DEFIANCE OF SELF" is alienating, expansive, utterly eerie and inventive, as the author continues to consolidate a new creative path that's clearly his own. Let yourself be absorbed in this dark realm of thematic soundscapes, accentuated by the somber and melancholic '80s style of Stefano Gentile's photography.
The idea behind "Methexis" is to take some of the foundational concepts of jazz such as interplay, timbral research and improvisation, and render them in a predominantly electronic context. The compositions were sketches, for example various modes of interactions and three modal macro-areas were indicated on the piece "Methexis", while "On Silent Haunches" is an improvisation for solo electric piano structured on the final four chords of the "Ladybird" standard, and so on, the pieces were constructed leaving each musician with endless possibilities for interpreting the music. Interaction was one of the underlying principles of the project and occurred on two levels: the first saw the musicians interpret the compositions, the second saw Borda edit, process and manipulate the recorded material depending on what each musician had played.
